Sir madame has run away again (Lily and Carson) novel Chapter 239

Chapter 239
I had no choice but to make another call to Isabella, who seemed to be in a real hurry on the phone. “Lily, I have an emergency right now. Talk to you later.”
“What happened?”
“Jeremy was in a car accident. I have to go to the hospital.”
“It is serious? What hospital is he in?”
“He’s at First People’s Hospital. Alright, I have to go.” Isabella quickly hung up on me.
The news of Jeremy’s car accident had me worried, so I immediately went to the hospital right after work. When I arrived, I called Isabella again to ask where he was and where Jeremy was now.
She informed me what floor they were on, so I ran to Jeremy’s sick bay. In the ward, I saw him in bed with his calves bandaged as he moaned in pain. The moment he saw me though, he lowered the volume on his moans. So I walked over to the bed. “What did the doctor say?”
“He broke his bone and needs a few months of rest,” Isabella replied.
“How did he get into a car accident out of the blue?” I continued.
“You ask him.” Isabella looked irritated.
Jeremy stopped groaning and looked away in embarrassment. Seeing this, I was sure he must be with a woman. in your car at the time of the accident. At that moment, a honeyed voice was heard from the doorway. “Jeremy!”
I turned to see a beautiful woman in the doorway with her hands on the doorframe.
“P***!” Flames of fury danced in Isabella’s eyes as she tried to charge at the woman and punch her.
“Isabella Owen! If you touch a single hair of hers, I won’t let it go!” Jeremy threatened her sternly when her palm was about to slap that woman. Due to the threat, Isabella had to withdraw her hand.
With Jeremy’s support, the woman rolled her eyes at Isabella in a teasing move and walked into the room. “Jeremy, you must be in a lot of pain. Me too! Look, my arms are hurt. What if they heal?”
“Don’t worry about that. I will buy the best scar removal cream for you.”
Standing beside them, Isabella was shaking with rage. She was speechless at their audacity. Feeling furious, I walked over and slapped that woman hard across the face. I had gathered all my energy for this slap, so my palm hurt after that. As for the woman, her face soon swelled with heroin.
She didn’t expect to be hit, so she turned to face me. “Who the hell are you? How dare you slap me?”
