Sir madame has run away again (Lily and Carson) novel Chapter 410

Chapter 410
– That’s right, she conceded gracefully. Then she leaned against Eric very gently and put her arm through his. In a coquettish tone, she told him. ‘Eric, you didn’t even tell me you were leaving, and I spent a long time looking for you.’
‘I just went out for some fresh air,’ he replied flatly and shifted his gaze to me discreetly.
‘I was just worried about you!’ Reaching out with delicate hands, Camille smoothed his clothes, and the way she was casually intimate with him hurt my eyes. When the scene of us kissing passionately in the pavilion earlier popped into my head, the irony couldn’t be much stronger, and I turned to leave.
However, Camille smiled at me and said, ‘Lily, you really surprised me today.’
Forcing a smile, I asked, ‘What do you mean?’
“I mean your dance. I didn’t know you danced so well. Many professionals cannot deliver the same as you.’
‘I’m just an amateur and I don’t deserve your praise.’ Not wanting to hang around much longer, I tried my level best to sound normal and excused myself. ‘You keep talking while I look for Isabella. She must be worried about me, since I’ve been away for so long!’
Almost instantly, Dylan added, ‘I’m coming with you!’
‘No need for that. Stay with Jessica, and I can go alone,’ I dismissed him and turned away. Despite that, he just silently followed me with Jessica tagging along.
Seeing that we were all leaving together, Eric coldly told us, ‘Mrs. Craig is talking to Richard in the second hall on the left on the second floor. Just look for her in the salon.
Thanking him politely, I said, ‘Thank you for this, President Walker.’
When we entered the main hall, we saw my father and Callie, who was clinging to my father’s arm and beaming with a smile. Showing up with him tonight had attracted the attention of countless rich wives and handsome young men, which explained the smile on her face.
A strange smile appeared on her face when she saw us passing by, and she greeted me first, ‘Lily!’
After greeting her, she wanted to leave immediately, but my dad looked at me and suggested, ‘Lily, it’s getting late. Let’s go together.’
‘No, I’m leaving with Isabella.’ Realizing that Dylan and Jessica were still with me, I turned to them and said, ‘I’m going upstairs to look for Isabella. You don’t have to come with me.
‘I’ll go with you to find her,’ Dylan insisted as they walked with me up the stairs to the second floor.
There were a few rooms on this floor and I hit the second one on the left as mentioned by Eric. Moments later, it was Richard’s voice who said, ‘Please come in’.
Pushing open the door, I saw Isabella and Richard sitting on the couch with smiles on their faces, looking like they were getting along great. When Richard saw us coming in, he rose and welcomed us: ‘President Newman, Ms. Hawkins, please be seated’.
– No thanks, Isabella, it’s a little late and I want to go home now.
‘All good. Farewell then, young master Tyson!’ Isabella said goodbye to him and left, with Richard coming to see us off.
Since Dylan was the one who brought Jessica, it was only natural that they would leave together as well while I left with Isabella, and Richard actually sent us out the front door.
When we were in the car, Isabella asked, ‘I was just talking about you with Richard. Why are you leaving in such a hurry?
