No, Jenny doesn’t seem like the scheming type, so she probably doesn’t know what’s going on. I thought Eric would at least stop this news from getting out when he told me to relax, but he did nothing. Yes, on the day when men could be trusted, pigs would fly!

After I hung up, I started looking through the news and saw the photo that was taken last night. The paparazzi must have noticed us while we ate the meatloaf, as the following photos were taken after that. They had a clear view of Eric, but not of me. There were about five pictures, including one of Eric giving me the meatloaf and buying the rose.

Because of the angle, they only got a vague shot of me from the side, but Eric had his face shown in all of them. The succulent caption read: ‘President of Walker International seen at bazaar with his new girlfriend’.

There were already tens of thousands of comments there. Most of them were trying to guess who the girl was; some said it was Camille, some argued against it, while some called me names. “Damn you, Eric!” I cursed angrily.

Isabella looked back. “What is wrong?” When she saw what I was reading, she gasped. “He’s feeding the girl, giving her a rose, and she’s wearing pajamas? Wait? Were you together last night?”

“What are you talking?” I looked at her.

She looked around, and when she realized no one was watching us, Isabella lowered her voice and said, “God, you are bold. You went out with him like that?”

“That’s not me.”

“Yes right. You may be in your pajamas, and the pictures may be vague, but I know it’s you.”

“What? What if Carson sees him then?”

“There’s nothing you can do about it. No straight shots, no interrogations. So what if he suspects it’s you?” Isabella shrugged. “Besides, he’s really going to ask you

about it after what he did?”

*Do you think Camille knows it’s me?” I was getting worried. “Jenny said she broke into the company and asked about it. If she knows it’s me, she

hate me.”
