As if sensing my gaze, he turned and gave me a gentle smile. There was no embarrassment on his part. Instead, it was like we’d been together for years. “I’m going to fill the bathtub. Then I’ll bathe you.” Men and women have always been different in this respect; I was still feeling embarrassed and conflicted, but he had already returned to his normal self.
I listened to the sound of running water with slight melancholy. After a while, the sound stopped and Eric left. When he reached the side of the bed, he reached out and picked me up. “Allow me to serve you, my princess!”
“Can I shower in my

“Allow me. Your hands and legs are injured, so I’m going to give you a bath. I promise I won’t do anything!” Afraid I would refuse, he added, “I’ve seen every part of you!” For a moment, no words came to me.
