Chapter 302 Fate Created by the Heavens
Wendy was dumbfounded. “Are you questioning my daughter’s character? You!” Lachlan clutched his chest in anger and fainted. On the other hand, Wendy frowned. They all knew that this child was most likely not Hank’s. Kensley family was afraid that it was over.
She tried hard to think of a way out. Suddenly, she raised her head and looked at a figure walking over from the side. She said in surprise, “Lyra!” Hank also immediately lifted her eyes to look.
Lyra smiled lightly. She looked tired and weak, but she said firmly, “The child has just been born, and you are going to do a paternity test. As a father, you are too heartless.” How could Hank not understand this?
But if he did not do it, he would still feel uncomfortable. “I want to talk to you alone. Is that okay?” Lyra looked at the police and lawyer and then looked at Hank. “Hank, you guys go ahead and talk. I’ll guard this side.” Wendy said. Lyra lifted her eyes and gave Wendy a meaningful look. Without saying anything more, she turned around and walked to the corridor on the other side. Hank’s footsteps stopped a few steps behind her. “Why are you here?” he asked, staring at her back coldly. Lyra sneered, “It’s all thanks to Alma that we got to where we are today. She gave birth to a child, so how can I not come and take a look? Moreover, I have to congratulate you. You are a father now.” A hint of disappointment flashed through the bottom of Hank’s eyes, but he had nothing to say. “If I were you, I would not do that paternity test. No matter what the result is, you and Alma are destined to be together for a lifetime. You have already hurt me. Do you still want to hurt another woman?” “I don’t know what I’m doing, but I actually ran over to tell you this. You can ignore me, it’s okay.” She smiled.
After she finished speaking, she was about to leave.
The nurse in the delivery room ran out. “The pregnant woman is bleeding heavily. The situation is dangerous. Which one of your blood types is Rh-negative?” The blood in the blood bank of the hospital was temporarily lacking. If this went on, she would die.
Lyra frowned. God, you are really… She was about to move when Hank held her wrist. “You are exhausted! Are you mad?” Lyra tilted her head to look at him. She slowly reached out and pushed his hand down. “I might have been abandoned by God.” She could not ignore it. Alma’s child had just landed, and she was Hank’s fiancee. If something happened to her, what would happen to the child? What would happen to Hank’s life?
Lyra lay on the blood donation table. She slowly closed her eyes. The scenes in her mind were all about Hank and her past. In her heart, she silently told herself that this time, the entanglement between them would be completely cut off. “Who are you to the pregnant woman? If you are a relative, the odds of matching them will increase,” the nurse asked.
“No, it’s just someone I know.” Lyra lowered her eyes.
