Chapter 347.1 Forgiveness I
“Good morning. There you are.”
Imogen was looking down at the photos taken casually on her camera in the studio. As she heard footsteps and talking, she looked up to see Liam arriving and smiled in greeting.
At the sight of Imogen, Liam took a step with complicated glances in his eyes. “Morning. Are you here that early?”
“Yeah. It’s the first time, so I must be serious and positive.”
Imogen didn’t catch the look in Liam’s eyes when she smiled while taking a few more photos to get a feel for the scene she had just set up.
“I’m going to put on my makeup first,” Liam said.
“Go ahead.” Imogen looked at the photos in the camera without looking up.
Liam pursed his lips and gave Imogen a fond look.
He was eager to ask what was going on with her and Troy.
Did she love Troy that much?
She could even forgive Troy for cheating on her.
“Mr. Thompson?” The assistant reminded Liam as he saw him standing still.
Liam came back to his senses, glanced at Imogen, and turned to the dressing room.
Liam’s team sent her a requirements document two days ago, which Imogen carefully analyzed, but the first official shoot went poorly.
She and Liam didn’t cooperate reasonably, so she took photos in which Liam always wandered away from the mood.
They were slow and ineffective.
Imogen was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn’t notice that Liam was out of his mind. She thought it was her problem, so she tried everything she could to change the situation in front of her.
Liam closed his eyes, rubbed his forehead, and tried desperately to convince himself to
momentarily forget about last night’s scene.
The rest of the shoot went much smoother.
Imogen quickly figured out the criteria that Liam’s team needed based on the photos they adopted and tried to meet them while conveying the tension of the picture, which was instantly more efficient.
Liam changed two outfits midway through the shoot, as well as the set and style.
By the time the filming schedule was over, it was close to eight o’clock at night, and everyone was exhausted.
“Okay, that’s it.” Carter, Liam’s broker, nodded as he looked at the photos from Imogen’s camera. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Liam relaxed for a moment, stood up, and stretched. “It’s finally over. I’m going to go change.” Liam took two steps, stopped, and turned to Carter. “Imogen, don’t leave. Carter, book a box at the Shannon Hotel, and we’ll have dinner tonight.”
Carter glanced at Liam as he desperately winked. “You have work tomorrow. You’ve been tired all

day, so go home early and get some rest.”
Carter thought, “Liam was just photographed the other day. Did he forget about it? He should know the danger of obsessing over a woman!”
Liam understood Carter’s concern and said, “We’re just having dinner together. It’s fine.”
“Okay,” Carter reluctantly agreed.
Imogen put the camera back in her bag and chatted with Carter about the direction of the post–shoot.
It wasn’t long before Liam, the makeup artists, and others came over to join them in the parking lot.
“It’s too crowded in the car over there. Can I take your car?” Liam told Imogen as he looked at the nanny van not far away.
Imogen hadn’t said anything before Carter came up and patted Liam on the shoulder. “Why don’t you go in the car over there and take a break? Yancy and I will take Ms. Forbes‘ car. Ms. Forbes, do you mind?”
Carter was on guard, determined not to give Liam a chance to be alone with Imogen.
“I don’t mind,” Imogen smiled.
Liam was silent.
