Sir Your Wife Already Signed the Divorce Paper by Josie Johnson novel Chapter 351

Chapter 351.1 Heartless (1

Imogen remembered the days when she was bullied the most. She dreamed of her mother coming. back, holding her and promising to never leave, telling Imogen that she had friends in school and no one would bully her again

But upon waking up, all she found was a cold bed and a dark night, causing her to curl up and cry helplessly

Such dreams used to be frequent during her primary school days but became less and less as she grew older

She couldn’t remember when was the last time she had such a dream. It had been about ten years

anyway

Where was her mother? Whether she had remarried or not? Why was her mother so heartless to never come and see her? Did her mother already have another child, leaving her behind? Those were all questions Imogen would wonder in the past

At times, she resented her mother for abandoning her, while other times, she wondered if there were reasons behind her mother’s actions

Eventually, Imogen stopped expecting the role of a mother and stopped feeling angry towards her mother. She simply considered that such a person didn’t exist in the world

After her father’s death, she managed to overcome many challenges over the years

She had never imagined that they would cross paths again

It was an unexpected twist of fate

Her mother turned out to be the second wife of Walter of the Harrington family

Imogen thought. Did she know about the news of Dad’s death? Did she know that I’d been adopted by the Marshall family

The day I was taken to the hospital by her henchmen, did she know that I am the daughter she abandoned years ago?”

Imogen recalled the words her mother said at the hospital, and a hint of mockery appeared on her face

Imogen thought her mother must have known

Yet, her mother still pushed her to apologize to Mike, assuming that Grace was Imogen’s daughter, and continued to use Grace to threaten Imogen

In that woman’s eyes, Imogen was nothing compared to Ivette

Imogen couldn’t help but laugh

This was the mother she had longed for so much as a child

Although she had long stopped expecting, she still found herself pitiful and laughable to long for maternal love in her childhood

The cold wind brushed Imogen’s face, numbing her skin

She felt something stuck in her chest, unable to express or release it

It was around seven in the evening. The streets of Jubilian City were brightly lit, bustling with people like an eternal city

Unconsciously, Imogen walked for a long time and arrived at the Oplipton Sea

Chapter 351. 1 Heartless (1

She stopped, leaning against the railing, staring at the sea without moving

Suddenly, a Facebook notification sounded

Imogen glanced at her phone and saw a message from Troy’s account, but the tone and content were clearly from Grace: [Imogen, are you available for a video call now?

Imogen paused for a moment and replied: [Yes.

The video call immediately connected, and the screen showed a beautiful little girl. The girl’s skin. was as white as milk, smooth as silk, and her eyes were shining brightly. She had a delicate and small nose, plump and rosy lips, and even two pieces of puff pastry at the corners of her mouth, as if she had just eaten a dessert

As she saw the clever, cute, and lovely Grace, Imogen’s turbulent inner world calmed down a little. Hi, Grace.”

Grace saw the dark surroundings behind Imogen and curiously asked, Imogen, are you not attending the awards ceremony tonight?”

There was a little accident, and I’m outside now.Imogen smiled and raised her phone, showing her surroundings to Grace

Grace furrowed her little brows and worriedly said, Then do you still have the trophy?”

Yes, I will show it to you when I return.”

Imogen, I also want to go”

Before Grace could finish, a familiar male voice interrupted, Grace, it’s time for your bath.”
