Chapter 370.1 Died Long Ago I 

On the set, Imogen, who had just finished shooting a scene, was reading the script in the dressing 

room. 

A crew member peeked in at the door and walked in after seeing Imogen, saying, “Ms. Forbes, there’s someone looking for you outside.” 

“Who is it?” Imogen looked up from the script. 

In this situation, the person must have some connection to the actor themselves. Otherwise, the crew member wouldn’t have specifically informed her. If everyone could come without. notification, fans would queue up to see their idols. 

“She said she’s your mother.” 

Imogen was momentarily stunned but quickly regained her composure and calmly said to the crew member, “My mother passed away over twenty years ago, so that person outside is definitely a scammer. Just send her away.” 

The crew member was surprised and thought, “She should mean her mother has died, right?” 

“Okay, I’ll ask her to leave.” 

The crew member went to the outside of the set fence by the cars and glanced at Irene sitting in the back seat, thinking, “She looks decent enough. Who would have thought she’s a scammer?” 

Without hesitation, the crew member told Irene, “You can leave. Ms. Forbes doesn’t want to see 

you.” 

Irene furrowed her brows as a hint of impatience appeared on her face. “Did you tell her about my identity?” 

“I did.” 

“What did she say?” 

“Hey, come on. I’m showing some respect! Do you know what Ms. Forbes said? She said her mother passed away over twenty years ago and that you’re just a scammer! Why are you still hanging around here? You’d better leave quickly.” 

The crew member turned and walked away. 

Irene was speechless. 

She thought, “No wonder Imogen hasn’t contacted me all these years. Has she been assuming that I am dead?” 

The driver asked with a puzzled look, “Madam, what do we do now?” 

“Wait for a moment,” Irene replied. 

She took out her phone and had someone check Imogen’s phone number. 

They had spoken before, but it was on a police phone, and Irene hadn’t recorded the number. A few minutes later, the number appeared on her phone, and she dialed it. 

“Ms. Forbes, someone is calling for you.” The assistant handed her the ringing phone. Because of busy work, Imogen hired a driver to take her around and two temporary assistants. One was responsible for her increasing number of photography appointments, and the other was in charge of her work on the set. In addition, there was a dedicated assistant for the foundation. In fact, Imogen didn’t really like being called that way, but the assistant preferred it. 

Chapter 370.1 Died Long Ago I 

The assistant was a senior student who had been admitted to graduate school. She had a few courses last semester but none this semester, and her thesis was almost finished. Thus, she came to work temporarily for a few months, which Imogen thought worked out well because Imogen wouldn’t have any more projects after finishing this film. 

Imogen glanced at the phone, noticing it was an unfamiliar number from the Jubilian City, and inexplicably thought of Irene. 

She told the assistant, “You take the call and say that I’m busy with work. Let the person know I’ll take the call after I finish shooting. From now on, handle all unfamiliar calls like this unless they mention it’s an urgent matter. Those with an accompanying note can let me know.”
