EDWARD'S POV
"Stop this now, Mi amore, please ... this revenge thing. Just come with me, let's go back to Spain." Yes! I am convincing Leysa Frank, the woman I love but who doesn’t love me back, to stop this nonsense revenge she’s plotting. It has no turning point at all, it will just only hurt herself with her own decisions.
And yes I know everything, I know her plans since we are still in Spain. But I didn't know that Fred and his wife were her target. Only a few days ago I also managed to match my theories when I got time to spend time with them.
She sighed as she looked at me gently.
"Eddy, after aiming my goals. I will stop immediately and go back to Spain. I --I just want to make her taste my sweetest revenge, please," she replied.
I just sighed and caressed her face.
Why did they make her like this, they turned the sweetest angel into a mad devil.
It's been a month since we went out of town in Ilocos. And a lot has happened.
And one of those is when I found out the people who are involved in the story of mi amore's revenge.
And my best friend, who is Frederik Wilford, also talked to me about him cheating on his wife with his sister in law. And Leysa didn't know that Fred had already talked to me about it. I don't want Leysa to know that I already knew my friend's point of view of what is happening to them.
Actually, Leysa aims to make Fred want her which is already happening. Fred is so drunk with the lust he feels for Leysa. I even saw them, making out at Fred's office, just shit! I also guarded for them once, outside my friend's office to make sure no one else could see them in that state. I am protecting Leysa from the ridicule she may face from other people. Everyone knows that Frederik Wilford was already married to Diana Frank, two years ago. So by any chance, with the wrong turn of tables, Leysa will possibly be ended up the bad person in this story of her painful past --but knock on woods.
But aiming just that thing will not comfort Leysa and make her decide to stop this nonsense revenge of hers, because she was also aiming to make Fred choose her over his wife. Which is not going to happen - it came right out of Fred's mouth. He will not leave his wife for any woman and he really needs the contract of marriage with Diana to fully handle their family’s company. It's one of the conditions of his grandfather --a marriage contract and a great grandchild.
So he can't just leave Diana like that. It would be more okay if they were not married, but they were married, for goodness sake.
And Leysa really hopes that Fred will choose her. That’s why I almost want to hit Fred again. Yes, I punched him on his face when he called me to meet him, we had just returned from Ilocos when we met the day after and he told me everything. I hit him because he was a total jerk to let Leysa seduce him and easily fall for it. If only that stupid friend of mine hadn't been weak, Leysa wouldn't have reached the point where she was also addicted to Fred.
Because I know Leysa will stop her plans when she knows her first goal has no destination to succeed at all, but f *ck Frederik Wilford, why did that idiot become my best friend anyway?
"Hey Eddy. Are you with me?" I was brought back to my senses when Leysa called my attention. By the way, I thought again that Leysa really had no hope of stopping this.
But one last try, "Leys, as your dearest friend. Please listen to me, stop this, please. It has no destination. It will only hurt you. Yes, Fred will never forget you, he always aims for you, but it’s not an assurance if he can choose you over your sister. They are married Leys and he needs her more than anyone else. She is what he needs Leys, not you. He is just taking advantage of your revenge, whether you admit it or not, he just wants you in bed ... no more, no less. He just think of you like you are just his whore Leys-- "
And there it goes... she slapped me, so hard.
And I saw her tears falling down on her sweet angelic face.
And confirmed...
"You already love him..." after saying those words to her, I just bowed down in hopelessness... shit, this is what I am saying.
LEYSA'S POV
"You already love him."
And Eddy’s last words before he left, feels like a bomb that just exploded inside me.
No ... it can't be. It’s impossible!
