Chapter 601 Scar Is Poisoned
“Ari, we haven’t seen each other for many years, have we?” Dr. T flipped through the cards in his hand and said with a smile. “Your gambling skills are still so good!”
“Of course. This is what I do for a living,” Ari sneered.
Gloria rolled her eyes.
Dr. T looked at Gloria and asked Ari, “Is this girl their child?”
Ari said, “Yes!”
Dr. T said with a smile, “I miss the time when I was with you guys. But unfortunately, we separated later.”
“Stop pretending in front of me. You know that we have always been in Sin City.” Ari curled his lips.
Dr. T smiled. He touched his chin and said, “You came to me this time. Are you planning to join us?”
“Join you?” Ari curled his lips. “Forget it. I came here because I wanted your help. If you can help, this disaster can be avoided. Blaine can deal with the Purple Elite Ghosts, and you can easily deal with those Gold Elite Ghosts! You also have many experts that listen to you…”
Dr. T interrupted Ari and asked, “Why should I help those people? Give me a reason.”
“For the sake of all living beings. It’s not easy to have a peaceful era. You don’t want it to be destroyed, right?” Ari said.
Dr. T shook his head. “What do all living beings have to do with me? I can build a world that should. exist myself. And before that, elimination is necessary. In this world, many people should die. They are not qualified to live in this world.”
Ari frowned and then shook his head. He stood up and said, “Fine. You won’t listen to me.”
“You don’t want to stay here?” Dr. T asked. “We’ve known each other for many years. At the very least, I can guarantee your absolute safety and allow you to survive this disaster!”
“Live here? Can I survive?” Ari curled his lips. “We still don’t know how many people will die here! I am also an old man, and it’s time for me to do something for this world. I will go kill those Elite Ghosts!”
After saying so, Ari turned around and walked out.
Gloria made a face at Dr. T. Then, she followed Ari and walked out.
After leaving the underground casino, Gloria asked, “Grandpa, is that man Dr. T? I remember you saying that he’s about the same age as you. Why does he look so young? He looks like a middle–aged man, and he is quite handsome.”
“That guy is just a pervert. I even suspect that he is no longer human.” Ari let out a breath.
“Then where are we going?” Gloria asked.
“Go back to Sacramento. Go to the Night Watch Base. But I have to go to the frontline!” Ari said with a smile.
“Oh. Grandpa, you have to come back safely! If you don’t come back, I will no longer have a relative in this world,” Gloria said.
“Sure!” Ari nodded. “I’ll send you to Sacramento first!”
The next morning, Gerald didn’t get up early. After he went to the first floor, he found no one there. Most of the people had already eaten breakfast. After breakfast, they returned to their own rooms. They were trying their best to improve themselves.
On the first floor, a lady was packing up. When she saw Gerald, she said, “You must be Gerald!”
“Hello, lady!” Gerald said with a smile.
“Alas. Mr. Hanson told me to take good care of you. Please be prepared for the war. We all have to rely on you to survive. Well. I can’t help you even if I want to. If the Night Watch still needs new blood, I can give you one. I have a kid at home who is addicted to games. I can send him to you,” she said as she cleaned up the dining table.
“Haha…” Gerald couldn’t help but laugh. The lady made a good impression on Gerald because of her words.
“It won’t help much even if you send him in. It needs to take a few years for him to get on the battlefield,” Gerald smiled. “Don’t worry. We will guard this place well!”
