Gerald looked at the old man in front of him, who was using a bone as a toothpick, with a strange
expression.
After picking his teeth for a while, the old man seemed to feel uncomfortable. He then thought for a while and pulled out his sword.
The sword seemed to be an ordinary sword. It was sharp, although it did not look that way.
The bone was quickly sharpened into a pointed shape. Picking his teeth in satisfaction, he curled his lips and looked at Gerald. “If it weren’t for me, how could I tell you that?”
Gerald gulped. He looked at the old man and asked, “May I know why you’ve followed me all the way here?”
“I want to see how a person with a Dragon Bone looks like. The more I follow, the more interesting I find you guys. Life attributes, Phoenix Bone, and Dragon Bone. I’m afraid the theory of rare attribute really exists.” The old man pouted and said.
“Are you from a distant starry sky?” The old man once again told a news that shocked Gerald and the others.
Feeling a headache, Gerald felt that he seemed to be seen through everything by the old man.
Gerald did not deny it. He still could not figure out what the old man was going to do. He nodded and answered, “H-How do you know?”
“I guessed it.” The old man seemed to have finished picking his teeth. He then shifted his gaze to the other
wild game.
Gerald blinked at Triston. The latter then hurriedly grabbed the wild game and handed it to the old man. “Please enjoy. I’ll go grab a few more. You can eat as much as you want.”
“Ahem. I’ll eat more then.” The old man nodded.
With that, he picked up the wild game directly.
Woof!
The brown dog barked.
Glancing at it in disgust, the old man then tore off one of the wild game’s legs and threw it to the dog.
The dog happily ran to the other side with the leg in its mouth.
Gerald glanced at the dog sympathetically. The dog was probably always hungry.
“How many attribute do you have now?” The old man asked as he looked at Gerald.
Stunned, Gerald looked at the old man dumbly, not knowing whether to answer the question.
“If I’m interested in your Dragon Bone, you’re already dead. Tell me the truth.” The old man knew what Gerald was thinking He took a bite of the meat, and said vaguely.
“Six,” Gerald answered honestly.
The old man frowned slightly and said, “Six? Then you can only absorb the last one.”
“The Dragon Bone can absorb seven attributes. This is its advantage, but it’s also a disadvantage. How far can a Flame Decayer go after this depends on the understanding of the attributes. If there are many attributes, it’ll take a lot of time to understand each of them, which is not necessarily a good thing,” the old -man said calmly.
“I’ve learned a lot from you,” Gerald hurriedly cupped his hands and said.
“How old are you?” the old man asked again.
“Almost twenty-nine years old,” Gerald replied.
The old man stopped biting the wild game and said, “You’re quite talented.”
Gerald pursed his lips. He did not tell the old man that his age converted into Havotune was about 25 years
old.
After the old man finished asking, it seemed that he did not want to say anything more.
Gerald cleared his throat and asked, “Sir, what’s your name?”
Thinking for a while, the old man answered, “You can call me Joy!”
“Single word? Are you from the Aggro Tribe?” asked Gerald.
“No. It’s not just the Aggro Tribe have single-word names. If you think it’s hard to remember, you can call me Alcoholic. That’s what those people call me anyway,” the old man said indifferently.
“Alcoholic? Why does it sound familiar?” Gerald touched his chin, and then his pupils suddenly shrank.
“Alcoholic! You’re Alcoholic?” Gerald stood up.
Looking at the old man in front of him in horror, Hector seemed to have thought of something as well.
Without caring about his image, the old man felt that his hands were a little greasy and wiped it on his body.
Anabel mentioned Alcoholic to them before.
“Under the starry sky, Alcoholic is invincible. His Alcoholic Sword is powerful. No one dares to call himself the strongest when Alcoholic doesn’t come out!”
Alcoholic was Blaine Villanueve in the world, who was known as the strongest person.
Gerald could not imagine that the man with a single sword, who had the Archaic Tribe’s lordship, actually
looked like that.
The contrast was too obvious.
After eating for a while, Alcoholic seemed to be fulled. He threw the rest of his foods toward the dog, then opened the wine gourd and drank a big mouthful of wine.
After swallowing it, he let out a satisfied voice and said, “I haven’t eaten so full for a long time. It’s so comfortable! It’s almost time for me to leave.” He looked at Gerald.
Alcoholic wiped his hands on his body and inserted the sword into the scabbard.
Gerald felt a pang of heartache as he stared at the sword. This man in front of me is Alcoholic. His sword is the number one weapon on the weapon ranking list, Freedom Sword! But he just took such a Divine Weapon -to pick his teeth! Thinking of that, Gerald felt a toothache.
“I came over just to see you. Brat, there is not much time left for you. In the future, we may have to fight side by side.” Alcoholic stood up and said.
Gerald did not understand what he meant.
“What does that mean?” Gerald asked hastily.
Looking at Gerald, Alcoholic responded, “There’s no point in talking about it now. I can save you this time, but I can’t save you every time. We can only meet when you survive. Dog, we should go.” Alcoholic turned around
and looked at the dog.
Woof!
The next moment, he disappeared in front of Gerald. With the remaining half of the wild game in its mouth, the dog barked, chased after Alcoholic and disappeared into the darkness.
Looking at the place where they disappeared, Gerald and the others were a little stunned.
Blaine just said something vaguely and ran away after eating two wild games.
But there was no doubt about his strength.
Gerald would remember how Blaine had saved his life.
“I’ll see you again,” Gerald said confidently.
“It’s a pity that such a master can’t teach us anything.” Carolyn said with a bitter smile.
“I didn’t expect that one day we would be able to sit with such a legendary figure,” Hector said.
“You know him too? Who the hell is he?” asked Triston.
Gerald and Hector began to talk about the stories they had heard about Alcoholic, which made Triston
envious.
After listening for a while, Triston let out a sigh slowly and said, “That’s how men should be!”
“Are you planning to walk a dog and dressed like a beggar in the future? Or you may not even have enough to eat? Carolyn asked.
Triston shook his head and answered, “I would never do that. I suspect the old man has a tendency to abuse himself. With his strength, he can get whatever position he wants, but in the end, he can’t even have enough
to eat.”
They were discussing the appearance of Alcoholic seemed to be an interlude, but it also seemed inevitable.
Gerald silently recorded everything in his notebook.
Early the next morning, the car started again.
Another day had passed. At the border of Solein Kingdom, the hover car slowly drove into Ries City. They found the hotel where they came to the world for the first time and checked in…
