Kiara returned shortly after with a middle-aged man in tow. Yannie’s expression changed the moment she saw that middle-aged man. 

Anxious, Yannic stood up from the couch and greeted fearfully, “Mr. Hubbard.” 

The middle-aged man was none other than Zion Hubbard, the manager working for Del Costa Real Estates, Del Costa’s developer. 

Zion saw red the second he saw Yannie. “I told Kiara to summon you to my office. Why didn’t you come? I needed you urgently!” he fumed. 

In truth, Kiara dragged Zion there to avenge her. Actually, he didn’t even need anything from Yannie prior to that, but he couldn’t turn down Kiara’s request.
