Chapter 1014 Grapple 

As soon as he pushed open the door, several gunshots sounded. Fortunately, Alex was well-prepared. He enveloped his entire body with Mortal Force so the bullets couldn’t cause him the slightest harm. 

“Oh? He’s also a martial artist. Interesting!” A man waved his hand at those who had been shooting at Alex, and they immediately ceased their attacks. 

Alex shifted his gaze onto the man who spoke, and his pupils constricted a little. Alex had seen that man before at the entrance of the police station the other day. He was the man who had stepped forward and grabbed that young man into the car. 

At that time, Alex had already sensed that man’s aura was no weaker than his. Listening to that man’s remark. Alex grew more certain of his suspicion. 

He was under the assumption that he was peerless in the real world, but he didn’t expect to encounter a person who could rival him.

With that, he casually tossed his gun at one of his subordinates. Then, he stretched his neck and flexed his muscles before launching himself in Alex’s direction at breakneck speed. 

Alex didn’t dare to take his opponent lightly. He swiftly charged at that man, raising his palm to strike the latter’s chest. 

That man sneered. Instead of avoiding Alex’s assault, he planned to face the attack head-on, swinging his fist at Alex’s torso. 

The two grunted at the same time and staggered five to six steps backward after the exchange of blows. 

Alex had used eighty percent of his strength when thrusting the palm strike earlier. He didn’t expect that man to merely stumble a few steps back. He had only caused just a bit of blood to trickle down the corner 

of his mouth.

Suddenly, a bullet was shot at Alex’s head. A cold glint flashed across Alex’s eyes as he promptly tilted his head to avoid the bullet. 

Taking in that scene, that man was enraged. He raised his hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth, grabbed the gun he had previously handed to his subordinate, and fired multiple shots at the person who had just pulled the trigger. 

Only when the person collapsed to the ground, his body riddled with bullets, did that man stop and throw the gun aside. He spitted and cursed, “F*ck! How dare you act without my orders? Such audacity!” 

Having finally encountered an opponent rivaling his capabilities, that man wanted a fair and exhilarating fight. Even if he were to lose his life, he didn’t want others to interfere.
