Chapter 1028 I Will Kill This Woman 

“Who are you? Release me now! The police elite team will be here soon. You won’t be able to escape when they arrive,” Elsa warned as she struggled hard to free herself. 

Alas, her threats proved futile as she couldn’t move an inch in his grip. She felt as helpless as an ant. 

Glenn was a hot-tempered man. As Elsa wouldn’t stop babbling, he applied pressure to her mute acupoint to stop her from making any noise. 

As the only ordinary being around, Elsa whimpered in desperation when she realized she could no longer talk. Helpless and fearful, she could only wonder what Glenn had done to render her voice useless, leaving her unable to communicate her distress. 

“Young man, you’ll meet your doom today. Are you going to watch this pretty police officer lose her life because of you? If you agree to provide me with your cultivation methods, I might consider sparing her life. I’ll also make sure you die in one piece. How does that sound?” Glenn asked, training his gaze on Alex’s slumped figure on the ground. 

If he wasn’t a half Grandmaster whose senses were sharp enough to detect Alex’s weak breathing, he would’ve assumed Alex was dead. After all, Alex looked lifeless lying on the ground. 

He waited for a while, but Alex said nothing, Losing his patience, he came over to Alex and gave the latter a kick. “I won’t repeat myself. Hand me your cultivation methods, or I’ll kill this woman!” 

Alex’s body convulsed. He coughed violently, and blood spewed out from his mouth. Each cough brought forth mouthfuls of crimson blood that tainted the ground beneath him. Slowly, his eyes fluttered open. 

Tears welled up in Elsa’s eyes as she witnessed Alex’s suffering. Her heart ached. She felt the weight of his pain as if it were her own. 

She longed to shoulder his burden and apologize for leading him into such a perilous situation. Nevertheless, trapped as a hostage, she was powerless to intervene as her own safety was hanging by a thread. 

“R-Release her,” Alex said weakly. His bones had been shattered to the point where he was rendered immobile. He could only watch helplessly as Elsa was held hostage before his eyes. 

Realizing Alex could still talk, Glenn tightened his grip around Elsa’s neck and threatened, “Hand me your cultivation methods!” 

“I-I can give you my cultivation methods but release her first. I want to talk to her,” Alex requested, his voice weak. 

After careful consideration, Glenn decided to release Elsa. He believed that an ordinary person and someone on the verge of death would have no chance of escaping his grasp. He was convinced that he had the upper hand in the situation. 

As soon as Elsa was freed, she rushed to Alex’s side. Tears streamed down her face when she saw the pool of blood around him. Her hands trembled. She did not know where to touch him because he was afraid of causing him further pain.
