This incident completely changed Noche and Vito’s worldviews. The three brothers knew each other’s abilities inside and out. Hence, they naturally understood just how powerful Rosso’s recent psychic attack on Alex was. 

Even if a third-phase Grandmaster survived Rosso’s mental attack, they would still be unconscious for about seven days. 

And yet, Alex was only a first-phase Grandmaster. It baffled the others that he could stand there unscathed and even launch a surprise attack on Rosso.

“How do you expect to kill me in your current state? If someone really has to die, it can only be the three of you!” Alex said indifferently. 

Vito didn’t refute those words. No matter how proud he was, he had to admit the fact that he and his brothers had indeed been defeated by a young man in his twenties. Zachary really has a great son! 

Vito and Noche both closed their eyes. They looked as if they were waiting for death because that was all they could do. “We wholeheartedly admit defeat at your hands. If you wish to kill or torture us, do as you please!” 

Alex paid no attention to them anymore. Instead, he focused on carrying Zachary, who was lying on the ground. It was only when he was about to step onto the elevator that he finally spoke. “My sole purpose here is to rescue my father. Doomsday Prison needs you all to guard it. If I kill you all today, and the evildoers in prison escaped to cause harm, won’t I be committing a sin?” 

As the elevator doors closed, Vito and Noche finally opened their eyes slowly after hearing Alex’s words. 

Looking at the mess in the eighteenth basement, Vito and Noche finally sighed in relief. They didn’t know whether if it was the joy of surviving a catastrophe or some other strange emotion.
