Chapter 1131 Surrender
Tris’ droopy eyes widened in disbelief. He couldn’t comprehend how he hadn’t been able to withstand a single move from the young man before being completely subdued by him.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine he’d possess such incredible strength at his young age! Not even Hadriel from Raven Sect was this capable back then. This young man is swift, accurate, and ruthless, to the extent that I didn’t
have a chance to display my own skills. He’s truly terrifying! Oh, my goodness… I’m in a very precarious situation.
“Y-Young man… Please wait a moment. Let’s talk things out calmly. I admit I was wrong before, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it up to you. Please don’t kill me,” Tris pleaded, a bitter expression on his face.
The men in the hot spring had initially thought Alex was courting death, but who knew it was Tris getting the short end of the stick instead? Needless to say, they couldn’t help but admire Alex’s strength.
My, my. If we all had this young man’s abilities, we’d never allow ourselves to be manipulated by this old pervert!
Meanwhile, Alex still refused to loosen his grip around Tris’ neck. He hadn’t even coerced the latter into spilling any secrets, yet the pathetic man was already begging for his life.
“If you want to stay alive, you’d better tell me everything about Leight Sect. If I find out you’ve lied, I’ll make you wish you were dead,” Alex said smilingly.
With that, he channeled his Mortal Force into his left hand and swung it toward a stack of rockery stones, instantly smashing them into smithereens with just one strike.
On top of that, many people also witnessed a massive golden palm shadow materialize in the air when Alex unleashed the attack.
Tris, too, was hit by a sudden realization. I knew this young man was powerful, but I couldn’t tell what cultivation realm he was at before. Now, however, everything has become crystal clear… Anyone who can unleash Mortal Force as a physical form is undoubtedly a Grandmaster! That said, it’s unheard-of for a twenty-something to become a Grandmaster. Not even those in the secret world have such talent. What kind of a monster is this young man?
“I’ll tell you! I’ll tell you!” Tris exclaimed, utterly overwhelmed by Alex’s sheer prowess.
Just like that, he revealed everything there was to know about Leight Sect to the young man.
Leight Sect was led by the sect leader, Young Leighton, and three other elders. The first elder was a half Grandmaster and was merely a hair’s breadth away from becoming a true Grandmaster. The second elder, on the other hand, was a third-phase Grandmaster.
To Alex, the three elders weren’t a concern at all. Even if they were to join forces, he’d still be able to defeat them without breaking a sweat. There might not be a significant gap in their realms, but it was enough to make a vast difference.
Young Leighton, however, wouldn’t be an easy mark. He was a bona fide Grandmaster, and even though he was still in the first phase like Alex, his twenty-plus years of experience in the realm had allowed him to master impressive control of his Mortal Force.
In any case, I’ve had the experience of sparring with three second-phase Grandmasters from Doomsday Prison, so I’m confident I can handle Young Leighton too. The only thing that worries me is whether he has any secret weapons or special pills. Since this third elder can’t give me the information I need, I’ll have to continue to probe around. Then again, I might become the target of the entire Leight Sect if I act too recklessly. The best approach is to defeat the three
elders one at a time and leave the sect leader for last. That way, I won’t have to worry even if Young has a trick up his
sleeve.
