Chapter 1143 It Is Me 

“Hey, Alex. Wake up, wake up! Something big has happened in Leight Sect. It seems that three of the elders have been killed. Do you know anything about it?” Zack pushed open the door to Alex’s room and saw that he was still asleep. 

He quickly woke Alex up, as something significant had happened in Leight Sect. 

“How can you sleep when such a huge incident has happened in Leight Sect, with even Mr. Tris dead?” Zack exclaimed. 

To Zack, even though he was just a kitchen assistant in Leight Sect, he still considered himself a member of the sect and took the recent changes very seriously. 

Alex sighed gloomily and said impatiently. “So what if they’re dead? What’s the big deal?” 

“Master Leighton ordered everyone in Leight Sect to capture someone named Alex? How come the murderer’s name is exactly the same as yours? Could it be a coincidence of having the same name?” Zack asked anxiously. 

The reason Zack rushed to find Alex was to ask whether that matter had anything to do with the latter. After all, Alex was his friend, and it would be terrible if they caught the wrong person and killed him. 

“The person they’re after is me. I suggest you leave now, so I won’t have to deal with them and protect you at the same time,” Alex uttered calmly. 

Upon hearing that, Zack was utterly stunned. Looking at Alex in disbelief, he asked shockingly. “You’re saying the person they want to capture is you? How is that possible? How could you have killed the three elders? They were existences no different from deities!” 

Zack still found it hard to believe that the amicable and slightly wealthy Alex had killed the three elders. 

Amidst Zack’s astonishment, the door to the room suddenly burst open, and a large group of Leight Sect’s disciples flooded into the room. 

The leading disciple of Leight Sect shouted, “This person actually has an accomplice. We’ll kill both of 

them!” 

Upon seeing so many deities, Zack was scared out of his wits, and his legs shuddered uncontrollably. He quickly explained, “This has nothing to do with me! I really don’t know what happened. Ljust arrived too.” 

The disciples of Leight Sect took one look at Zack’s cowardly appearance and were sure that he wasn’t an accomplice of Alex. They immediately ignored him. 

Alex didn’t expect Young to find him so quickly. Realizing that there was no chance of sleep now, he got up from the bed, stretched lazily, and finally rested his gaze on the crowd in the room. 

“Where’s your sect leader? Why isn’t he coming in person? He’s truly cunning and despicable for sending all of you small fries here,” Alex said disdainfully. 

Upon hearing Alex’s insult towards their sect leader and calling them small fries, the disciples of Leight Sect were instantly filled with indignation. 

“Disciples of Leight Sect, let’s kill this man together!” the leader shouted. 

The other disciples, who had long wanted to teach Alex a harsh lesson, immediately followed the order 

without hesitation. 

Alex curled his lips into a contemptuous sneer. Only the leader is a Master Realm warrior in this group of people, yet they’re talking big about wanting to capture me?
