Veronica pointed at Alex with a look of disbelief. “How can someone with a pretty face like that possibly be the chairman of the Four Seas Corporation?” 

Previously, when Alex mentioned that he had started a small company, Veronica didn’t believe him, let alone the company being the leading enterprise, Four Seas Corporation. 

“Jessica, have you lost your mind? How can he possibly be the chairman of Four Seas Corporation? Even if you’re blowing hot air, you should at least make it sound plausible. I would’ve believed you if you said he was a security guard for Four Seas Corporation,” Veronica scoffed. 

Soren chimed in. “That’s right, Jessica. I know you’re trying to protect your boyfriend, but is he really worth all your effort when he’s so incompetent and negligent of you? You should break up with him. sooner rather than later!” 

As the subject, Alex kept a smile on his mouth. He quietly watched the scene as if it had nothing to do with 

him. 

Some people tended to show off and boast about what they lacked most in front of others, while those who possessed everything didn’t care about others’ opinions. 

Alex didn’t reveal his identity as the chairman of Four Seas Corporation because he was trying to keep a How profile to not show off in front of Jessica’s family.

When he typed in the chairman of Four Seas Corporation in the search engine, detailed information. about Alex showed up on the screen, along with a photo of him. That undoubtedly provided further proof solidifying Alex’s identity.

“T-This… This…” Soren stammered, unable to provide a clear explanation. 

“I searched before but couldn’t find it. I never thought it would be in my pants pocket. Dear, it’s not what you think. I really couldn’t find it before.” Soren tried to use this excuse to gloss through the situation.
