Her resentment towards Kate was so immense at that moment that she swore she would disfigure Kate’s beautiful face with her own hands. 

Kate shrieked at the top of her lungs as the whip came lashing at her. In that instant, the aphrodisiac’s effect seemed to have completely died down as fear overwhelmed her. 

Just as Kate could almost feel the whip on her face, a hand appeared out of nowhere and grasped the end of the whip.

“Who the hell are you?” Sasha glared at Alex. She tried to yank the whip away from his hand but it didn’t budge at all. 

“Alex?” Leo’s expression changed the moment he recognized Alex’s face. 

The last time he was at Dylan’s restaurant, Alex had stuffed so many pastries down Leo’s throat that he had to go to the hospital. 

Until now, he couldn’t look at pastry without throwing up. 

Never in his mind would he expect Alex to show up today. 

“Darling, this guy is the Jennings‘ good–for–nothing son–in–law. He must have sent the woman to seduce me!” Leo’s eyes were filled with rage towards Alex. He wanted to make him suffer at the hands of his wife. 

Although Alex was skillful in combat, yet Sasha’s bodyguards were soldiers that had once fought the Brecknock War. 

Leo figured that Alex would not be able to go up against all of them. 

“Pfft! Another man who feeds off his wife’s fortune. How dare you stop my lash? Are you looking for trouble?” Sasha spat scornfully. 

“You’re the one who’s looking for trouble!” 

Alex scoffed, “Who gave you the nerve to whip my company’s executive staff? Tell me!” 

Alex’s last few words carried so much power and fury that it startled Sasha and made her stumble onto the floorboard. 

“Damn you!” 

The bodyguards came rushing to Alex as they saw their master fell. 

A vicious intent flashed across Alex’s eyes as he flailed the whip around. 

Whoop!Whoop!Whoop! 

Before the bodyguards could even come close to Alex, they all went down after being struck by the whip. 

Alex had put all of his strength into each of the lashes.
