“What happened with the Jones family? Mom said that you were some master.” Heather looked at Alex curiously.

When she returned from work, Carmen told her that the Jones family went on their knees and begged Alex for his help. Furthermore, they gave him a bracelet worth five million.

Her mother was showing off the expensive bracelet all over town. If she accidentally damaged or lost it, they would be in big trouble if the Jones family came to reclaim it.

When Alex saw that Heather didn’t believe him, he was dumbfounded and left speechless.

“Stand right there!” Heather shouted.

“Mom, come home this instant. Don’t lose the bracelet!” Heather coaxed.
