Jolene bobbed her head in agreement. “I do. That movie only made half a million at the box office. It was barely a pass.” 

Peggy shook her head. “Flair of the City may have only made half a billion at the box office, but based on what I know, that same movie made a profit of two billion when it was streaming on Volcano Videos. That’s how crazy the effect of Volcano Videos is. It also proves that Four Seas Corporation doesn’t need the help of cinemas to sell their own movies, and their movies may make even more than they would if they premiere the movies themselves. That’s why I’m going to bet that the only entertainment company in the country that can safely ignore Harvey and his entertainment company is Four Seas Corporation.”.

Peggy smiled. “By the way, have you heard about the large–scale variety show that went viral across the internet, the Galaxy Girls? Jolene nodded in agreement. She had seen the promotional videos of the variety show and knew for a fact that many netizens enjoyed it. Even a good number of fans had left comments on her social media account, lamenting that it was a pity she was not a part of Galaxy Girls. While Jolene looked unfazed on the surface at that time, she did feel a prickle of regret when she looked back at it. 

Peggy said, “The show is produced by Four Seas Corporation, but I heard they ran into some problems. The main actress jumped ship mid–production, and they were forced to cancel the filming. I heard that they’re still looking for a suitable replacement. If you go, you may very well be the best choice.” 

“Do you really think they’ll sign me up?” Jolene asked eagerly, feeling the newfound hope in her heart soar to greater heights. Her eyes were shining brilliantly. 

She was truly attracted to the idea of being the next Galaxy Girl. If she managed to join a large–scale variety show just after signing an agreement with a whole new entertainment company, it would be the biggest slap on Harvey’s face. 

Peggy gave her an affirming smile. “I think they will. You are the top trending celebrity of the year, after all. You already have a sizeable fanbase supporting you. Not to mention that Four Seas Corporation has already invested so much money into expanding its viewer base. Just mark my words, if you even hint to them that you’re interested in joining their company, I’ll bet you won’t even have to approach them personally. They’ll probably take the initiative to contact you themselves and beg you to join them.” 

Jolene felt the dark clouds that had been shrouding her heart for the past few days clear up. “All right, Peggy. I’ve decided that I’m going to cooperate with the Four Seas Corporation!”
