The Taylors had collaborated with the Association of Ancient Medicine to organize an Ancient Medicine Exposition in Nebula City. It was such a huge event that everyone in the industry knew about it 

A luxury car rolled to a stop in front of the Ancient Medicine Exposition’s entrance as Callum, the President of Jazona Pharmaceutical, and Harper, who was dressed to the nines, alighted the car. 

Since Callum was quite the big shot in the industry, a crowd swarmed around both of them the moment they alighted the car. 

“Wow, I never knew you’re such a big shot in the industry.” Harper turned to Callum in surprise. 

There were more than a dozen people who came up to greet them the moment they showed up. Harper felt proud and honored to be by his side. 

Callum smiled, feeling pleased. After planting a kiss on Harper’s check, he said, “Even though I’m not as reputable as the upper-class people in Nebula City, I’m still a reputable person in the industry.” 

Callum wasn’t boasting when he said that. It was a fact that Jazona Pharmaceutical was growing rapidly in Nebula City. Even though it couldn’t stand up to reputable big companies, it was still a well-known small 

business. 

“Darling, you’re the best!” Harper purred. She was completely charmed by Callum. 

Just then, she caught sight of a familiar figure out of the corner of her eye, and her face fell. 

At that moment Alex and his disciple, Auricl, were having a conversation about ancient medicine as they walked over, so they didn’t notice Harper glaring at them. 

Callum turned toward the direction Harper was looking at upon noticing her hostility. “What’s up? Do you know them?” he asked. 

Of course I do!I won’t ever forget Alex’s face even if he turns into ash. 

I wonder what he’s doing here. 

But since we’ve met. I’m not going to let him off easy. 

With that, Harper leaned into Callum’s embrace and started to weep, tears streaming down her face. “Darling, that man is my cousin’s good-for-nothing husband,” she said helplessly. 

“He married into the Jenningses and is an infamous piece of trash in Nebula City. He also lusted after me back then because of how pretty I am and almost…” Harper trailed off. 

She was adding fuel to the fire on purpose in hopes that she could teach Alex a good lesson with Callum’s help. 

Just as she thought, Callum’s eyes turned hostile upon hearing her words. 

He caressed Harper’s head in an attempt to console her. “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it now him.” 

Seeing that Callum was willing to help her, Harper immediately broke into a satisfied smile.
