Haruko refused to give in. They said they only wanted to buy a divine pill. Since when did they say they want to buy all the stocks? 

She would never give in to Alex’s atrocious demand. 

Besides, no outsiders were involved in the ten-billion bet they made earlier other than Alex, Takeshi, and herself. Since there was no evidence against her, Haruko would not admit to the allegation. 

Ten billion on those pills is just crazy! I wouldn’t even spend over ten million on them! 

“Eighty million is my final offer. Take it or leave it. If you dare lay your finger on me, the Tokugawa family will not let you off easily!” she warned. It was as if she did not realize Alex was in control of her life and death. Making such a threat could be a fatal move for her. 

Flynn was about to explode with rage. He did not see this coming at all, as he initially thought the woman was Alex’s lover. 

He stepped forward and slapped Haruko in the face. “How dare you talk to us like this? Don’t you know you’re in Eurasia? I’ll kill you if you don’t watch your mouth.” 

Instead of stopping Flynn, Alex stood aside and observed them in silence. Let him teach this stubborn woman a lesson since she refused to listen to us! 

“How dare you hit me? Don’t you know I’m Haruko Takeshi, one of the top three warriors from Jetroina?” Haruko gave Flynn a killer stare. 

She would have let it slide had the slap come from Alex, but since Flynn was the one who did that, she was offended. How can I allow an ordinary man to humiliate me like this? 

“So what if you’re from Jetroina? If you can’t fork out ten billion to pay for the divine medicine, be prepared to face the punishment that is more severe than death itself.” Flynn turned around and took a glance at the ten muscular men behind him. 

Though Haruko was a decent-looking woman, Flynn had no intention of showing Haruko any mercy. 

“Even if you have taken the divine pills, you have no right to mass-produce it. If you refuse to cooperate with us, I’ll expose the wrongdoing of Tokugawa Pharmaceutical and tell the world how you have stolen the formula of the medicine. Feel free to do what you want if you don’t mind tarnishing your company’s reputation.” 

“Stop testing my patience. You better make up your mind before I leave ’cause I will not be responsible for what my men would do to you after this.” Alex was getting tired of dealing with Haruko. 

Upon hearing that, Haruko panicked. Alex was the only person she could negotiate with, and if he decided to leave, she would be in deep trouble. 

“All right! I’ll pay ten billion for the formula, and let’s call off the bet!” Haruko said without hesitation. Alex grinned. “You’re very good at negotiating. Well then. I’ll take your offer.” 

Alex instructed his men to release her with an eye signal. One of them handed her a phone.
