Upon noticing Alex, Clara was so incensed that her breathing grew heavy. He’s the one who caused me to feel aggrieved for two days! Even if I skin him alive, it still won’t be enough to sate my anger! 

Even though she hadn’t even asked what Robert’s name was, she grabbed his arm and exclaimed delicately. “Hubby, this man asked someone to hit my face a hundred times two days ago! My cheeks haven’t completely healed yet. You need to stand up for me!” 

Instead of doing what Clara asked immediately, Robert studied Alex’s appearance first.
