Chapter 835 You Are Such A Fool 

Why do I not know about any of these?Why? 

Alex had never mentioned that to her before. All Heather knew was he was the chauffeur of the chairman. 

Now that she came to think of it, there were loopholes in Alex’s acting. How is it that I have never discovered anything amiss? 

She had always been assuming that Alex was a piece of trash. He was just a good-for-nothing, and that was why she could not see any of it. 

“Did you say that the chairman of Four Seas Corporation is Alex?” Heather could not believe it, so she asked Carlene again. 

“That’s right. He is the chairman of Four Seas Corporation. You’re his wife. How come you have no idea?” Carlene was also a little curious. 

She realized that Heather knew nothing about Alex. In fact, she seemed to be very biased against him. 

Alex was such an outstanding man, and lots of women were mesmerized by him. Even Carlene could not help but fall for Alex. 

The truth was he was a very amazing person. The women who were eyeing him were many times more beautiful and came from better backgrounds than Carlene. Yet, Heather kept calling Alex a good-for- nothing. 

That was why Carlene could not be bothered to be nice to Heather. 

Heather, who was still on the floor, was in a daze. She refused to believe that everything was true. 

She thought that Carlene had invented everything in order to lie to her. 

“You’re lying. Alex is only the driver of the chairman! How can he be the chairman himself!” 

As far as Heather was concerned, anyone could be the chairman but not Alex. 

When Carlene saw Heather in that state, she was not in the mood to stay on. She said coldly, “I don’t care if you believe me or not, but Alex is the chairman of Four Seas Corporation, and that’s the truth. If you don’t believe me, go and ask your good friend, Jessica. She is his secretary.” 

Carlene turned and left. Now that the divorce between Alex and Heather was official, she would have to win Alex over before any other woman did so. 

Even Jessica knows about it? 

Heather took out her phone and called Jessica. After the phone rang for a while, she heard the pre- recorded message. “Sorry. The person you are calling is unavailable. Please try again later…” 

Her phone has been turned off? 

That confirmed Heather’s thought. Jessica must have turned off her phone out of guilt. 

By the look of things, Alex really is the chairman of Four Seas Corporation. That’s why he always wears a mask whenever he meets me. 

The chairman used to mention Alex in front of me. Back then, I thought that the chairman minded the fact that I was married.
