“Il pay for everything they bought.” Carmen took out a card and placed it before the sales assistant. 

The sales assistant froze in place, her mouth agape as she stared at the card. Carmen asked impatiently. “What are you doing standing there? Hurry and swipe the card!” 

The sales assistant looked Carmen up and down and saw that the latter was dressed in luxury brands and wore diamonds and pearls. One look and the sales assistant could tell that Carmen was rich, so she did not 

dare to waste any time.. 

She immediately changed her tone to a respectful one and said, “I am so sorry. I’ll swipe your card right away.” 

She quickly picked up the card and swiped it through the machine. With a beep, the transaction was complete.

“Why did you slap me? I didn’t even offend you,” the sales assistant asked innocently. 

Carmen ignored the sales assistant and reached up to slap her one more time. This time, she put more strength into the slap.. 

The sales assistant was livid. After all, no one would be able to tolerate someone else slapping them without any reason. 

“Don’t blame me for being rude if you continue to be like this! I didn’t even offend you!” the sales assistant yelled angrily. 

Carmen snorted and snatched the card from the sales assistant’s hand. She stared at the sales assistant condescendingly and sneered, “You’re nothing but small fry who works to serve rich people like us. You were rude to my friends when they were enjoying their shopping. Who should I slap if not you? Also, how dare you ask the security guards to stand guard at the entrance? Were you thinking of reporting us to the police? Let me tell you something. I have nothing but money to spare. This card alone has nine billion in it. If I acquire this store, will you still dare to look down on me?” 

Nine billion? How wealthy. 

Everyone knew Carmen was rich, but they did not expect her to have that much money in her account. Right then, a man looking to be in his thirties passed by the store and heard everything Carmen had said. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he stared Carmen up and down before his gaze stopped at the 

card in her hand. 

The atmosphere in the store was intense. Carmen was so engrossed in scolding the sales assistant that she did not notice that someone had set their eyes on her. 

“Do you think you can hit people just because you’re rich?” the sales assistant exclaimed resentfully.
