Chapter 842 Scam 

Heather went to Carmen’s room to find Carmen. “Mom, why did you bring a stranger home! What if he’s a bad man?” he asked with a frown. 

Heather knew Aiden wasn’t a decent man when she recalled the look he had given her earlier. 

Unperturbed, Carmen replied. “How can Aiden be a bad man? He currently has some financial difficulties because his business failed. I brought him home because he sold his house and had nowhere to stay I couldn’t have possibly left him on the streets, could 12” 

“Why weren’t you this kind before? You told me to sign the divorce papers and take the house and car with me. Why weren’t you concerned about Alex being homeless? Why do you care so much about stranger now?” Heather fumed. 

Carmen’s face contorted the moment she heard Alex’s name. Irritated, she retorted, “What does that piece of trash have anything to do with me? He deserves to die!” 

Piece of truth! Heather couldn’t help but smile bitterly when she heard Carmen calling Alex a piece of trash. Hell, I used to think that was the case. If hen I learned the truth, I was humiliated.
