Chapter 914 Eurasian Martial Arts
When Alex opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of Guillaume Alex was taken by surprise when their eyes met. He never thought that the foreigner would arrive earlier than him
Just as Alex and Byron stepped into the room. Guillaume exploded in fury. He jabbed a finger at Alex and cursed. “You d’mn driver. I can’t believe you have the guts to show up here! Well, that saves me the trouble of finding you.”
Guillaume then turned to Jack to utter, “This is the darn driver who threatened me and dumped me in the middle of the road.”
When Guillaume arrived at Four Seas Corporation, he had been ready to complain to Jack, but he had momentarily forgotten about the matter when he laid eyes on the beautiful Maggie.
Now that Alex had appeared, Guillaume was not going to let him go so easily. Thus, he continued. “Hurry up and fire him. Then, make him apologize to me, or else I’m not going to design the wedding dress for you.”
Before Jack could say anything, Alex walked over to Guillaume and grabbed his collar. “Dude, did you not hear what I said earlier? Why are you here when your service isn’t needed here?”
Guillaume tried to pry Alex’s hand off, but his efforts were for naught-the latter had an iron grip.
“Jack, aren’t you going to do something? Are you seriously letting your driver threaten me and kick me out of this place? Get the security to kick this guy out! Guillaume fumed in embarrassment.
Jack shrugged helplessly. “I can’t do anything about this. Alex is my employer, and he’s the one to decide who will design the wedding dress. If he’s asking you to scram, then you’d better scram back to Ferropene.”
The second he realized that the driver-looking man was the man who hired him, Guillaume paled and dropped his jaw.
For what seemed like eons, words eluded him. He could not believe that Alex was the man who hired him.
After all, he had said many racist things and kept going on about how Eurasians were all short, wealthy idiots. All he wanted to do was to humiliate the driver and his rival, Byron Greenwood. He never imagined that the driver would be Alex Jefferson.
If he had come up with a satisfactory design, Alex was going to pay him ten million. Even though Guillaume was a famous designer, the offer was one he could not resist.
To not let the opportunity slip by him, Guillaume humbled himself and gave Alex an apologetic look.
“I’m really sorry, Mr. Jefferson. I’m a little inebriated from the red wine I had on my way here. That’s why I’m talking nonsense. I’m sure a magnanimous man like you won’t take my words to heart, right?”
Right then, Maggie walked over to Alex. Guillaume had been harassing her earlier, and she was not going to let him go so easily.
“Alex, this guy was saying dirty things to me earlier. You have to teach him a lesson!” Maggie angrily told
him.
