Chapter 916 Moving Back
“Kate, can you please give me another chance? I don’t mind that you gave birth to a child. I’ll take good care of you and your daughter.”
A handsome young Ferropenian man with blue hair and green eyes, dressed in a branded suit, followed closely behind a pretty Eurasian woman.
Kate turned around and flashed a mocking smile. Then, she raised her hand and slapped that good- looking Ferropenian man with all her might.
“What right do you have to care whether I have ever given birth to a child? Does that have anything to do with you? I’ve never agreed to be with you,” she uttered firmly.
That young Ferropenian man, Vinson, had pursued her passionately for a long time.
Ever since their first meeting, Vinson began courting Kate relentlessly. He was the scion of a wealthy family, so he was very generous in his pursuit, gifting her villas, luxurious cars, expensive bags, and other extravagant presents.
Kate never accepted him from the beginning. Her indifference deeply intrigued him as the challenge provided him with great thrills. He was determined to win her affection.
“I’m sorry.
Kate. I really didn’t do that on purpose, and I didn’t mean that. I simply love you too much and miss you like crazy every day.” Vinson said subserviently.
The public knew him as a member of a prestigious noble family from Ferropene. Moreover, because of his exquisite appearance, many Ferropenian aristocratic women were interested in him.
However, Vinson understood he couldn’t maintain his frivolous lifestyle after marrying those high-born women. As philandering as he was, he didn’t plan to settle down so early and be bogged down by marriage.
Ever since Vinson met Kate at the airport over a year ago, his personality underwent drastic changes. Initially, he merely wanted to try going out with a Eurasian woman for a breath of fresh air, but unexpectedly, his obsession gradually spiraled out of control.
It was as if Kate emanated an irresistible charm that kept him captivated at all times, causing him to devote himself to her.
At that moment, Kate had returned to her villa. She was about to enter the house when Vinson, treading on her heels, wanted to follow her inside too. She swiftly lifted her leg and kicked his groin.
“I don’t like you. Even if you give me all your money, I will never be interested in you. Get lost!” Kate told hum straightforwardly.
After getting booted, Vinson rolled on the ground in agony, with tears and snot covering his face. He extended his arm, attempting to stop her from closing the door, but it was too late as she already slammed
In the villa, Kate placed the milk powder she had just bought from the supermarket on the table and heard footsteps coming from the stairs.
A dark-skinned nanny descended the stairs while carrying the six-month-old Emmalyn.
When Emmalyn saw Kate, she giggled and stretched out her chubby hands, wanting the latter to hug her.
Kate completely disregarded Emmalyn and said to the nanny coldly, “The milk powder I just purchased is on the table. Remember to prepare the formula for Emma.”
With that, she turned around and headed to her room, not sparing even a glance at the baby girl in the
nanny’s arms.
When Emmalyn noticed her mother left without embracing her, she slowly pouted and wailed the next second.
