Chapter 918 I Do Not Know This Person 

“This is the place, Dmitri! This is my brother-in-law’s office building! He’s the chairman here, so he can definitely pay you the money!” Lucas said respectfully as they stood outside Four Seas Corporation. 

The only thing I can do right now is to stake it all on Alex. I’ll be fine as long as Dmitri can get the money from him! Who knows? Alex might just fear Dmitri so much that he’ll pay him on the spot! Besides, he’s really rich, so it’s only right to have him pay Dmitri instead! 

The security guards of Four Seas Corporation realized something was amiss when they saw dozens of men armed with baseball bats heading toward the building. All those men looked hostile and were apparently up to no good. 

The guards quickly gathered at the entrance and formed a line to stop them from entering. The security guard team leader then stepped forward and asked, “Who are you people? Are you here to cause trouble?” 

Dmitri then shoved Lucas toward the front and ordered him to do the talking. With his life on the line, Lucas had no choice but to do as he was told. He then handed the security guard team leader a cigarette and said with a smile. “I’m the brother-in-law of the chairman, Mr. Jefferson. Could you please let him know that I need to see him urgently? It’s really important.” 

The security guard team leader did not accept the cigarette that Lucas offered. Instead, he simply shot Dmitri and his men a cautious glare as he contemplated his options. 

The security guards of Four Seas Corporation are definitely no match for these gangsters, so I should probably just inform Mr. Jefferson about this… 

With that in mind, the security guard team leader whipped out his phone and gave Alex a call to explain the situation. Alex was taking care of some paperwork in his office at the time, so he came downstairs. immediately after receiving the call. 

Lucas ran up to Alex the moment he saw him step through the front door. “I’m so glad to see you, Alex! My mom was wrong to have ruined your marriage with Heather! We’re all terribly sorry about what she did. Will you please remarry Heather?” he exclaimed.. 

Heh… They only come to me when they run into trouble and need my help. I doubt they would even remember me if they didn’t owe these guys money! 

The security guard quickly dragged Lucas aside for fear of him hurting Alex. After all, they would be the ones held responsible if Alex was injured in any way. 

Dmitri scratched the top of his bald head as he walked up to Alex and eyed him from head to toe. “So, you’re Lucas’ brother-in-law? He owes me one hundred million, and he says you’d help him pay for it. Do you have the money ready?” he asked with a disdainful look on his face. 

“I don’t know this man at all. If he owes you money, then it should be him that you go after. How does this have anything to do with me?” Alex responded coldly. 

Lucas panicked the moment he heard that. What? Does Alex seriously not care what happens to me? These guys will kill me if I don’t pay up! 

“Come on, Alex! We’ve lived in the same house for years! How could you say that you don’t know me? Please save me, Alex! I don’t want to die! I’m still so young!” Lucas exclaimed while struggling with all hist might, but the security guards had him in a vice-like grip. 

“Drop the act and pay up, or we’ll smash your office building to pieces! When that happens, I won’t stop
