He was none other than Alex. To see him under such circumstances, Heather felt an indescribable feeling well up inside her. 

“Thank you for helping Lucas the last time. I don’t know how to express my gratitude. I-” 

Having no intention to prolong their interaction. Alex interrupted her, “I wasn’t helping him. It was he who keeps channeling trouble in my direction. I have yet to hold him accountable for that! If he does it a second time, I’ll personally teach him a lesson even if others don’t!”
