Chapter 932 Jealousy 

When the two arrived and saw the fairytale-like castle that was built with a budget of five hundred million, they were filled with envy. 

Heather clenched her fists and dug her nails into her palms. Obviously, she was jealous. When Alex married me back then, he didn’t even do anything like this. At that time, we only had a simple wedding! But now he actually spent five hundred million to build this castle for Maggie. I even heard that he employed a designer from Pillere to design Maggie’s wedding gown. 

Heather was utterly upset, and all she wanted to do at that point was to question Alex. Why is Alex doing this to me? How is Maggie better than me? 

Heather suppressed her complicated emotions and followed Elsa into the castle. 

The decoration in the castle was so luxurious that they felt as though they had entered a world in a fairy tale. There were even ornaments of elves hanging in the air. 

“It’s so beautiful! How was your wedding like when you married Alex back then? He’s a romantic man, right?” Elsa asked curiously. 

As soon as she finished the sentence, she realized she had said the wrong thing. She was so mesmerized by the decoration in the castle that she didn’t think before she spoke. 

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean it,” Elsa apologized immediately. 

Heather feigned nonchalance and shook her head. Needless to say, jealousy was taking over her mind. When Alex and I got married back then, everything was kept simple. People even told me I had married a loser during the wedding. Yet, he’s giving Maggie such a grand wedding and treating her like a princess. Does Maggie deserve so much more than me? If Alex is here, I would really like to get an answer from him. Why is he doing this? How am I worse than Maggie? 

Nevertheless, Heather didn’t know about Alex’s situation back then. When they got married, he had used up half of his savings to buy the house. Hence, he could only afford a simple wedding. 

After they got married, Alex had to provide for Heather and her family. Carmen wasn’t working, and Lucas was a lazy glutton. Despite not knowing how to earn money, Lucas was a big spender. 

Alex wouldn’t have used the Global Bank black card if Heather didn’t insist on accompanying Walt

“It’s very likely. Alex must’ve dumped Heather and got together with the eldest daughter of the Grant 

family, who’s even richer. It makes sense Heather is unhappy.”
