Chapter 935 Kick Up A Fuss
Everyone rushed to the edge and looked down. As expected, there were a few red words painted on the ground in blood-the color was extremely striking.
A few iniddle-aged women were standing near those words, their hands still carrying some remaining dog blood.
Evidently, they were the ones behind those words. However, why would they come over and create such a huge disturbance at Alex’s wedding despite having no grudges against him?
Upon closer inspection, someone recognized the mean-looking woman standing in the middle of the group. The person with her hands placed on her hips fiercely was none other than Alex’s ex-mother-in- law, Carmen.
After writing that, Carmen felt that it was still not enough. She yelled at the top of her lungs. “Alex, you ungrateful man. You’ve just divorced my daughter, yet here you are with another woman. You shameless b*stard! While my daughter was tirelessly taking care of your son at home, you were messing around outside. After finding yourself a mistress, you divorced my daughter. It’s impossible to find an even more ungrateful man than you in the entire world!”
Alex, who was watching the spectacle from the castle, frowned and glanced at Heather, who was standing behind.
She had first kicked up a fuss. Now that her mother was distorting the truth like a shrew, he was furious.
He had spent a long time preparing for today so that he could give Maggie an unforgettable wedding and make her the happiest woman.
However, those people kept coming over and creating more trouble, depriving him of the opportunity to proceed with the wedding smoothly.
Heather felt even sadder and aggrieved when she sensed Alex’s cold gaze on her. He’s looking at me as though I’m the one who summoned my mom over to do something like this.
All she wanted to do was try to make Alex stay. She had never thought of kicking up a fuss on purpose.
Still, she could not completely detach herself from Carmen’s actions.
Upon finding out about it, Flynn and his subordinates rushed down the castle fiercely.
How dare someone ruin my good friend’s wedding? She’s blatantly disrespecting me, the ruler of Nebula City’s underworld! Even if God himself has come, he’ll have to show some deference to me. Otherwise, I won’t let it slide until enough blood has been shed.
Carmen was still as noisy as ever downstairs. At the top of her lungs, she shrieked, “You’ve got no conscience at all, Alex! Back then, you married into the Jennings family and leeched on us for so long! Now that we’re bankrupt, all that’s on your mind is seducing another wealthy woman. Don’t you feel guilty for having an affair while still being married? Someone like you should be struck by lightning and condemned to hell forever.”
Not concerned about whether Alex had actually done those deeds, Carmen just kept accusing him of the most horrible things. Her aim was to humiliate Alex utterly in front of everyone.
She had called her good friends over to support her. After all, she had spent quite a lot of money on them. when she was still wealthy. Her friends could not possibly refuse to help her
With her sharp gaze, Carmen noticed a bunch of youths running toward her with baseball bats. She tossed her megaphone to the side and sprinted away immediately.
Carmen’s friends did not dare to stay there any longer upon seeing that as well. They knew that Alex, whose patience had already run out, must have sent those men to teach them a lesson.
Although Carmen was the first person to realize that something was amiss and escape, she was also the
unluckiest.
As she was running away in such a huge rush, she fell onto the floor and could not scramble to her feet in
time.
None of her friends helped her up when they saw her fall. After all, there was a huge group of men chasing them.
