“I am willing to take Maggie as my wife. I promise to stay by her side no matter rich or poor, in sickness or in health,” Alex vowed as he stared affectionately into Maggie’s eyes. 

The woman covered her mouth and turned to the other side as happy tears flowed down her face. 

She had been waiting for this moment for so long. She had imagined this scene countless times ever since Alex promised to marry her.
