 The ten percent shares of Four Seas Corporation sold by Alex were immediately purchased by Caroline, which was something he had expected. 

Since Caroline would only hold ten percent of the shares and would not have any say in Four Seas Corporation, Alex did not mind it at all. 

Looking at the thirty billion just credited to his bank account, he no longer had his heart in his throat. He immediately transferred the money to the tech dome’s account to fill the shortage of funds caused by the withdrawal of the Grant family’s investment. 

“Why did Ivy Media Group buy the shares of Four Seas Corporation to help us?” asked Jessica in puzzlement while looking at Alex. 

Four Seas Corporation and Ivy Media Group had always been rivals, so Jessica could not figure out why they would spend thirty billion to resolve Alex’s pressing need. 

“Judging from how she was able to expand Ivy Media Group to its current state, she’s definitely no simple woman. Pay more attention to things happening in the company for now, and report to me immediately if anything happens,” Alex replied. 

Jessica nodded, still baffled. Seeing that Alex was relieved after resolving the tech dome’s crisis, she was happy for him deep down. 

She had returned this time just to help Alex get through the crisis, so she found herself caught between a rock and a hard place now that the crisis had been resolved. 

Should I leave or stay? Wouldn’t it be awkward if I stay and continue to be Alex’s secretary?

Hearing Alex’s words, Jessica gave a firm nod. If she resigned, she would have to continue looking for a job. 

In the past six months, she had tried looking for jobs, but none could compare with the benefits that Four Seas Corporation provided.
