When Rhea considered how the organization had abandoned the “boss,” she decided to use him as a guinea pig for her experiment to show the organization how hardworking and outstanding she was.
Her fingers sank into her palms as she clenched them and said grimly, “How could you possibly know the organization won’t need my experiment?
“You guys have no idea what my creation could do if I succeeded. It’ll be far more powerful than those R series research products!” she sneered, “Let’s not waste our f*cking time. Are you going to take me to see them or not?”
Mike noticed her getting upset and regained his composure. He sighed, “It’s not that I don’t want to do it, but… I can’t. I don’t even—”
“Mike!” Rhea impatiently interjected, “How could you not know how? Don’t you f*cking know where your son is? I don’t believe you haven’t attempted to find him.”
She focused her beautiful eyes on Mike, sizing him up. Mike knew she was convinced he knew where his son was from her gaze.
He was shocked momentarily before pursing his lips and saying, “I only know my son is somewhere in Yudonia. A place we can’t go near, let alone step foot in. However, I genuinely don’t know his exact whereabouts. I would’ve rescued my son long ago if I knew.”
After a pause, he added, “As for contacting the organization, I’m just as clueless as you are. Still, there might be a way.”
