If she were to tell Alexander that Frank had planned to inject her with drugs, it was likely she would be unable to stop Alexander from killing Frank.

Lily said, after some thought, "I heard the kidnappers talking about it when I woke up.Oh, right, they seem to have somewhere they held me hostage.The police should have confiscated them as evidence."

Alexander listened to her quietly.
