"I honestly had nothing to do with it."

"The police were responsible for the arrest, and they were also the ones that charged her with the crime.I did nothing much, seriously!"

Alexander locked so sincere that Lily believed he had nothing to do with this incident.

Lily looked at him in disbelief, "You’re not sure yet you provided the police with information about her?"

Alexander added thoughtfully, "However, I’m pretty sure Melanie has always wanted to hurt you.I’ve already let her off the hook twice when we were here.I can’t let her go again, can I?"

Lily agreed that what Alexander did was for her sake, even if he were the one who gave the police a tip about Melanie.
