Spoiled By The President: My Wife Is A Little Sweet novel Chapter 827

Chapter 827 Who Poisoned Her?

Felix quickly returned to the castle. He rushed back in just half an hour after he got the news.

In the infirmary, the doctor had given Bella some proper treatments, so she was not in a critical condition anymore.

The test result had come out.

But it took everyone by surprise.

Queeny was also there when the doctor announced the result. Ella had brought her there in a wheelchair.

Queeny didn't look at Felix. The two didn't even make eye contact. They just waited quietly for the result.

The doctor looked rather apprehensive when he walked out of the infirmary.

He then said, "Here is the test result. It was white arsenic."

What?

White arsenic?

Everyone was astounded.

Felix and Queeny both puckered their brows.

Next, the doctor looked at Katy, who was standing on the side, and inquired, "Has Miss Collins had soup or anything like that today?"

Katy was taken aback. She then nodded and said, "Yes. She had some cereal from the kitchen. Why?"

The doctor held up a report with a grim look on his face.

"It was in the cereal. This is the toxic substance report. You should read this."

Before Katy could react, Felix snatched the report over.

His face darkened as soon as he took a glance at it.

Then, as if something just occurred to Ella, who was standing behind Queeny, turned pale at once.

Katy was still making explanations in a fluster.

"How can it be? I brought the cereal from the kitchen myself to Miss Collins. No one else had touched it. How could it be poisonous?"

Right after she said this, she spun around to stare at Gina, the cook, who had been summoned here as well.

"I know! It must be you! You put the poison in it, didn't you?"

As soon as she shouted, everyone turned to look at Gina.

Katy said in a shrill voice, "You're holding a grudge against Miss Collins because of what happened yesterday. So you poisoned her to get back at her. How could you be so evil?"

After saying that, she actually swooped on Gina, trying to hit her.

Yet, with so many people watching them, how could she really get to Gina?

Felix snarled, "Enough!"

At once, some servants went up and stopped Katy.

Felix locked his somber eyes on Gina and questioned, "You made the cereal?"

Gina was thunderstruck. She never thought the cereal she made would be poisonous.

Waving her hand in a panic, she stuttered, "No, no, I didn't. It's true that I made the cereal, but I didn't poison it. I swear to God. Though I don't like Miss Collins, she is a guest here after all. I'm just a cook working here. How could I have the nerve to poison her?"

Katy contradicted in a high-pitched voice, "Who else could it be then? Among all these people here, you're the only one who bears a grudge against her and had access to the food."

Gina never thought she would be in such deep trouble one day.

She felt she was really unlucky these days. Just yesterday, she was wrongly accused of stealing some ingredients. Now, she had been framed for poisoning Bella.

Talk about her bad luck!

All of a sudden, her eyes lit up as if enlightenment had struck her.
