Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 209

Celine’s eyes widened.

She regarded Nell with bewilderment and fear.

“What, what are you trying to do? You’ve promised…”

“I’ve promised Uncle Morton that I won’t reveal the relationship between the three of us, but on the condition that you don’t offend me. However, if you insist on doing so…”

Nell chuckled coldly and there was a hint of menace in her eyes.

“I won’t be so obliging. Till then, let’s see whether you’ll still be able to sit on your stolen throne?”

“You!”

Nell could not care less about Celine anymore. She got up and walked away.

Their conversation was out of Angel’s earshot. She was mad when Nell left.

“Elder Sister Celine, we ought to call the police or Young Master Morton! She dared to hurt you this way. We mustn’t let her off the hook!”

Celine tightened her fists in rage until her nails were on the verge of breaking.

Yet, when she heard what Angel said, she glared at her with clenched teeth.

“Call the police?”

Angel did not understand why Celine behaved this way, so she simply nodded.

“Yeah.”

Unfortunately, Celine was overwhelmed by fury and pushed Angel away. “Get lost!”

Angel was dumbfounded.

She had no idea what she said wrongly, but she could feel Celine’s wrath and assumed she was still angry at Nell. So, she went over to help Celine up.

“Elder Sister Celine, please.”

Celine took in a deep breath and suppressed the fires of rage within her.

“Take me back to the hotel and tell Tim that I’m not well and won’t be filming today.”

Angel was stunned.

“Huh?”

Celine glowered at her. “What ‘huh’? Move!”

“But… Are you just going to forget about Nell?”

Celine stared at the direction where Nell had just left and gripped her fists.

“Just you wait, I won’t give up that easily. Whatever she did to me today, I’ll be sure to make her pay for it dearly one day!”

In the end, Angel obeyed Celine and applied for leave on behalf of her from Tim.

Tim was aware of the commotion at the film set, but he did not say anything in front of Angel.

He feigned ignorance and waved a hand. “It’s her loss. Alright then, just one day, but she must resume work tomorrow.”

In spite of Angel’s displeasure, she dared not comment and went back to work.

Meanwhile, Nell sat facing the mirror and allowed Nancy to apply ointment on her face.

She already had makeup on. In order to apply ointment, she had to remove her makeup.

Fortunately, Nell had good skin and required less foundation. She only needed to remove the powder from her cheek and reapply it after the ointment was administered.

Nancy carefully rubbed some ointment on her cheek and grumbled, “Celine is a madwoman! She threw a fit out of nowhere. Look, your face is about to swell.”

Nell noticed the anger on Nancy’s face and laughed. “Fine, she’s in a worse state than me, especially after suffering from that kick of yours. Hey, you didn’t use your full force, did you?”

Nancy let out a “hmph”.

“If I used my full force, she would be sent to the hospital on a stretcher by now, instead of walking there on her own.”

After all, Nancy knew that she could not be too violent on set, lest she made matters worse.

Nell nodded and began to relax a little.
