It had never crossed Nell’s mind that she would get a call from Hannah.

Her long disappearance must have made Hannah and the rest worried sick. Hence, she prompted Gideon to take the call and inform her.

Hannah followed her over from Fenghua and she was no stranger to Hannah’s character from years of working together. Thus, Nell trusted her.

Hannah indeed upheld that trust.

Although she did not witness Nell’s escape with her own eyes, the fact that four strong men were beaten to unconsciousness in the secret lair was true.

Her investigation showed that Gideon had appeared around the area with a few men as well. There was no way Nell was not rescued by Gideon.

Celine was rather perplexed.

She could not put her finger on the matter. By right, Nell should come forth and crusade against her now that she was back and aware that the dirty work was Celine’s doing.

Why did Nell go into hiding and pretend as though she had not returned?

The next day, someone leaked on the internet, linking Celine to Nell’s disappearance.

A street surveillance video dictated that Nell was last seen getting on a cab. The cab driver, whose last name was Fernandez, was once Celine’s personal driver several months ago.

It was too much of a coincidence. Nell was last seen getting on the vehicle and the owner of the vehicle happened to be Celine’s driver.

It was impossible even if everybody wanted to believe in Celine’s innocence.

The online community was abuzz with assumptions and debate.

Various opinions flooded the space, coming up with all kinds of theories. Of course, there were those with quite the imagination who had combed through former disputes between the Nell and Celine and came up with a general idea.

Everyone then realized that the pair’s relationship was quite a mess.

At one point, Nell accused that someone had framed her and at another point, Celine hinted to the netizens that Nell had her eyes on her husband.

Nevertheless, the video of Kylie denying that rumor convinced netizens of Nell’s innocence regarding the previous incidents.

Celine, on the other hand, may have issued a statement through her management company, announcing that she was wrongly accused and reserved the right to pursue legal responsibility, but had not since shown any proof of her innocence. Many people had begun to find this objectionable.

Adding this expose to the mix, everybody was pretty much fed-up with her.
