Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 333

Janet’s words hit Liam like a train.

She wanted to tell him that, but she had always kept those words to herself.

Now, she was overcome with a wave of relief. She pushed his hand away and walked aside.

Taking a deep breath, Janet sensed the urge to cry and tried to suppress it.

She chuckled and remarked in a self-deprecating manner, “Also, don’t dwell on what happened five years ago. Things change a lot within five years. Who says that I’ll say ‘Yes’ if you want to be with me?

“I don’t love you anymore. Right, don’t you know? I already have a boyfriend and he treats me very well, so don’t you worry about my future.”

Liam sucked in a deep breath.

“What did you say?”

Janet turned to regard him. She stood up straight and replied confidently, “I said I already have a boyfriend. His name is Joel Foster and he’s the Young Master of the capital city’s Foster family. I bet you have heard of them, haven’t you? See, I’m such a powerful woman. If the Griffins don’t accept me, I have no choice but to set my sights on someplace else. I don’t have to rely solely on you.”

Liam laughed coldly.

He kept nodding his head.

“Well, well, well.”

His eyes were bloodshot. They evoked resentment and malice.

Janet clenched her fists and stated firmly, “You can leave now!”

Nonetheless, instead of leaving, the man moved closer.

He pinned her against the wall.

Janet was frightened and glared at him viciously. “Liam Jackman, what are you doing? I’m warning you, this is my house! If you try to be funny, my father will never let you go!”

“What do you think I’m going to do?” Liam retorted, “You think you can trick me? You think I’m as stupid as you imagine and will be twisted around your little finger?”

Janet was terrified.

“Let, let me go.”

“No!”

Instead of releasing her, he stretched out his hand and grabbed her chin.

A sharp pain appeared in Janet’s chin and she let out a yelp.

Next, the man’s face came closer to hers.

Her eyes widened in shock.

She felt a soft and cool sensation on her lips.

Janet did not see it coming. Her words were hurtful enough, yet, he kissed her.

Her chin was aching.

She moaned and struggled to shove him away.

Nevertheless, he grabbed her hands, lifted them over her head, and pressed them against the wall.

Janet could not break out of his grip and a flurry of emotions overwhelmed her. Tears formed in her eyes and they were about to stream down her cheeks.

Liam was exasperated.

She assumed that he was a fool and easily manipulated.

She could have made up a better excuse.

Did she not know that since her reappearance, he had conducted a thorough investigation of all the people she had met and the places she had been to for the past five years?

He was perfectly aware of the people she had come across and the company she kept.

She was a terrible liar and treated him like a moron.
