Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 407

Nell bared her teeth and said viciously, “You’re not allowed to kiss me casually.”

After a pause, she added, "Especially after meals."

Gideon smiled with a hint of evilness in his eyes. "I will take care of you tonight."

That sentence caused Nell to blush even more as she pushed him away, feeling shy. “Go away.”

With that, she turned around and ran out.

Looking at the silhouette of the woman who left because she was shy, Gideon's eyes softened and he reminded, "Run slower."

However, Nell did not want to reply to him, so she slammed the door shut, and disappeared at the doorway.

Two days later, Gideon was finally done with his matters so he took a week’s leave to accompany Nell.

Nell had checked that the Shelby Clan’s headquarters was now in Country F, and since the last place Old K had stayed in was also country F before returning to China, she decided to go there directly.

Fortunately, now Old K was dead, the people in Dragon Regiment were very concerned about this too.

So if she went there, she could get a lot of help.

Yet Nell and Gideon had chosen to conceal her identity. Even Old Master Garrett was reluctant to say more about this matter, hence they followed suit.

However, Joel's birthday was the night before they left.

They had made plans to have a gathering, and after booking the next day’s flight, Nell and Gideon agreed.

In the morning, Gideon took Nell to stroll around the jade stores.

Only then did Nell know that Joel was a jade lover.

The two of them came to a store that had quaint decorations where they saw all kinds of jade wares inside, but Gideon did not even stop to look before he walked directly to the back hall.

The assistant in the shop seemed to know him and hence did not stop him.

Passing through the back hall, they met an eighteen- or nineteen-year-old boy who smiled and asked, "Are you Mr. Leith? Master is already waiting for you inside."

Gideon nodded before he walked in with Nell.

This place should be a preserved courtyard. It was rare in southern cities like Jincheng, but it was common in the capital.

After passing through the moon gate and entering a courtyard with different flowers and herbs, there was a stone pavilion in which an old man in his sixties was sitting and looking at a piece of green jade.

"Gideon, come here."

He waved at them, and the two of them walked over, only to see the old man holding an intricate jade in his hand, rubbing between his palm.

Gideon asked, "Old Hughes, is this the piece that was just opened?"

The old man sitting at the table nodded without hesitation.

"I have seen jades for so many years and this is the most perfect piece. Old Lewis, look at the color and its translucency, I’m sure you have never seen it in your life."

The other old man who sat across from him obviously did not have much interest in these things. He smiled and said, "Yes, yes, what you opened must be good. Okay, since the Gideon is here, you guys have a chat first. I’ll go for a walk outside."

Then he got up and walked out.

The old man, surnamed Hughes ignored him and asked Gideon directly, "Why are you here today?"

Gideon said, "Uncle Hughes, I'm here to buy a jade today."

Old Hughes glanced at him and asked, "Which piece?”

He knew that Gideon naturally didn't like the ones in his store, and if he wanted them, it would be the good pieces that he had kept in private.

It hurt to think that another one of his good pieces was about to be taken away from him.

Gideon's eyes faintly swept across the table before it landed on the uncut piece of jade.

"This piece?"

Old Hughes suddenly jumped up like a rooster whose tail had been stepped on. He then picked up the piece of jade and hugged it while shouting, “Don't even think about it!"

Gideon was not in a rush, so he only said lightly, "Simon said he saw you and that woman named… Jennifer went to the guest room in the hotel. I don’t know if it’s true but it looks like I’d have to investigate it."

Old Hughes's eyes suddenly widened and they were bigger than a bullseye.

Next to him, the old man surnamed Lewis, who had yet gone far, turned around immediately after hearing this.

"Yo, you’re still in contact with Jennifer? Didn't Sandra give you a good whooping previously?"
