Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 442

The little boy looked up at her and politely replied, “Thank you!”

He then hurriedly ripped open the gift wrapper.

Underneath the gift wrapper revealed a complete set of drawing supplies.

Nell Jennings smiled and said, “I heard Little Aiden loves drawing ever since he was a young boy. I didn’t really know what to buy, so I just picked out this drawing kit. I hope the gift isn’t too shabby!”

Everyone heard this and laughed. The Griffin Family had a booming business and have seen all sorts of treasures, so naturally, they could not care less about receiving expensive gifts.

Gideon Leith also presented a gift that he had prepared.

However, he was more straightforward and handed over a black card. Justin Griffin was taken aback by this exorbitant gift and refused to accept it.

Gideon casually replied upon Justin Griffin’s refusal, “Keep it for the future when he wants to get married.”

The rest of the dinner party heard this and laughed out loud.

Justin Griffin chuckled, and only then did he accept the gift.

Old Madam Griffin was sitting on the sofa. She smiled, stroked her grandson’s head, and asked, “Aiden, do you want a wife when you grow up?”

The little boy had since removed the gift wrapper and his little fingers never stopped touching the colored pencils.

He smiled and replied, “Yes! I want to marry a girl that is as pretty as Aunt Nelly!”

Everyone laughed upon hearing this as the kid was too honest.

All of them sat around the living room and chit-chatted with each other.

Nell Jennings was still an outsider and felt awkward as she was not like Gideon, who could talk about business with Justin Griffin and Liam Jackman.

After a while, she excused herself to take a walk in the garden.

It was the beginning of fall. The garden did not have many flowers aside from a few chrysanthemums. It could be seen that the Griffin family was not very big into horticulture.

This made Nell think of the nursery at Fengqiao Villa. Even during this season, the nursery was still flourishing with all types of flowers. It was not just seasonal flowers, there were also a few varieties of medicinal flowers such as the Chinese Peony. There were also many species in which she did not know the names of.

Nell and Gideon’s room was facing the direction of the nursery. At night, she could smell the faint scent of the flowers, which was intoxicating.

She suddenly felt that Fengqiao Villa was much warmer compared to this lavish Griffin mansion.

Nell strolled through the long walkways and came to a swing in the garden.

Not long after she sat on the swing, she heard footsteps coming from behind.

She glanced back and found Gideon walking towards her.

Nell gently swayed on the swing.

The man’s voice sounded above her head.

“What are you doing?”

Nell looked up and stared at him. The sunset reflected on his eyes, dying them with a hint of amber.

She laughed and said, “I’m on the swing of course! Want to push me?”

It was a joke, but the man raised his eyebrows and obliged.

“Okay.”

His long fingers gripped the metal chains and lightly pushed the swing back and forth.

The swing did not go too high as he controlled his strength and ensured that the metal chains moved within a safe vicinity.

Nell pressed her lips together and did not speak a word.

The two of them basked in this quiet and sweet moment. Their moods instantly elevated.
