Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 736

Seeing this, Nell did not mind it at all as she brought Nancy to the table and they ate together.

The other man relaxed a bit when he saw that Nell had adapted quickly to their culture.

He was even more delighted when Nell answered the few questions that he had asked her at the table.

Nell looked at Gregory with a meaningful gaze.

Gregory understood it but did not immediately answer her. Instead, he pretended as if he did not see it and turned his eyes in another direction.

A little annoyed, Nell stared at him but she could not do anything about it.

Only after they had finished eating did she find an opportunity to find Gregory alone.

Gregory was standing in front of the window, smoking.

He was dressed in an old Mao suit, which was a very sloppy getup. Yet as he was standing there, he still gave off the impression of a lost and independent medieval prince.

Nell looked at him for a moment and shook her head.

She thought to herself that she was truly insane to think that this man looked like a prince.

She walked over and said straightforwardly, "I want to contact Gideon."

When Gregory heard this, he looked back at her.

His gaze was obscure and inexplicable, but Nell could see clearly that there was no element of rejection.

He nodded. "Okay, I'll make the arrangements for you later."

Nell frowned.

Somehow, she felt that Gregory was somewhat incredibly easy to talk to that day.

She was silent for a bit, but in the end, she still asked, "Why did you come over this time?"

Gregory said, "Didn't I tell you? To save you."

Nell laughed.

"You just happened to be around here, just happened to meet me, and just happened to save me? Gregory Graham, I called you earlier when I was in Country F. Didn't you say you were in China?"

Gregory looked at her and narrowed his eyes slightly.

The corner of his lips lifted gently as he said, "You're doubting me?"

That icy, cold tone carried a hint of unquestionable dominance.

Nell stalled for a moment.

She suddenly realized that the man in front of her seemed upset.

After all, he had gone to rescue her with good intentions yet now, she was probing him with such an interrogative tone.

Anyone would be angry.

She could not help but sigh.

Nell felt that he might have misunderstood her with her previous tone, so she changed her tone and said, "I didn't mean to question you. I just wanted to say…”

She then took a pause before she said seriously, "I'm just worried about you, Gregory. Admittedly, we did not have the best relationship because of the many reasons back then, but we're still friends, right?"

Gregory looked at her in silence.

Nell continued, "I'm truly grateful that you were able to save me this time, but if there's anything you need help with, I hope that you can tell me without reservation, okay?"

Gregory narrowed his eyes at her and just stood there without saying a word.

The faint smile on his face was like a layer of magnificent light tinted with the early morning sun.

After a moment, he said, "I don't need any help."

He paused and laughed softly again.

"Don't worry, I only came over to meet someone this time, hence the reason for this outfit."

He intentionally gestured at the clothes he was wearing and continued, "I don’t have any other way. You know of my identity. If people know that I’m at a place like this, I'm afraid that it’ll only cause some unnecessary troubles and misunderstandings."

Nell was relieved at his words.

“That's good."

As she said this, she looked back at the old clock that was hanging on the wall.

"When can I contact Gideon?"
