Mr. Osborne froze, surprised by the appearance of Yuliana.
After all, Yuliana was eating on the other floor when he left. How could she run over that quickly?
Thinking of how Gregory was still in the study, Mr. Osborne’s facial expression changed and immediately walked towards Yuliana.
On the other side, Yuliana was at a loss.
The servant just now had only mentioned that Gregory was in the study upstairs, but she did not point out where exactly it was.
After Yuliana went upstairs, she realized that there were too many rooms on this floor. Each door was closed and she did not know which room it was.
She had no choice but to search for Gregory room by room.
However, she did not want to cause a commotion as she did not want to seem impolite. That was why she had only glimpsed after quietly opening the door of each room.
As a result, she wandering along the corridor was viewed as suspicious through the eyes of others.
When Mr. Osborne was approaching Yuliana, she had put the tray on the floor and put her face by the door. She turned the doorknob and looked inside.
All she could see was a guest room that was not decorated. This was not the study room that she was looking for. Feeling dejected, she backed away from the door.
After she closed the door, she bent down to pick up the tray that was on the floor. Then, she got up and turned to the back.
To her surprise, once she turned around, she had bumped into another person.
Yuliana was taken aback and subconsciously let out a scream. However, just as she started to scream, her mouth was immediately covered by Mr. Osborne.
After covering her mouth, Mr. Osborne pulled Yuliana to the side. Then, he let go of his hand and asked, “Miss Lynch, why did you come over here?”
Yuliana was very displeased with how Mr. Osborne covered her mouth and dragged her away.
However, considering that he was still the butler of this castle and that she was just a guest, Yuliana decided to keep her complaints to herself.
Instead, Yuliana made a small mental note. Once she takes over the castle and becomes Madam Graham, she would make sure that Mr. Osborne paid back for his deeds.
As she thought about this, the tension on her face eased. She then spoke in a gentle and polite tone, “Mr. Osborne, I am here to look for Mr. Graham.”
Mr. Osborne furrowed his eyebrows as he heard this.
“Do you have any business?”
Yuliana smiled, held the tray in front of her, and said, “It’s like this. I was eating dinner just now, but then I thought that Mr. Graham might have not eaten yet. That is why I specially picked some scrumptious food for him and sent it here. Mr. Osborne, is Mr. Graham in the study?”
Mr. Osborne pulled a long face and said, “I have already told you that he is eating in another dining room, you can take these back with you. He does not need them.”
At first, he thought that his harsh demeanor would have scared Yuliana away.
To his surprise, Yuliana acted as if she did not listen to what he had said.
As she was carrying the food, she paid no heed to Mr. Osborne’s words and laughed. “Mr. Osborne, you aren’t Mr. Graham, how would you know whether he’d want them or not? Mr. Graham hasn’t eaten yet, especially since he is so busy at such a late hour. Since I have nothing to do, I figured that I would express my gratitude toward him by sending food to him.”
After finishing her sentence, she went ahead on her own accord.
Mr. Osborne’s facial expression changed as he saw what Yuliana was doing.
He hurriedly tried to stop her once more.
“Miss Lynch, outsiders are not allowed to enter the Young Master’s study room, you should return.”
Yuliana glanced at him for a moment.
Her gaze was a little bit cold.
“Did your Young Master say this?”
