Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 782

Both of them wore black tracksuits. The man looked quiet and soft-spoken, with buzz-cut hair and a pair of calm eyes.

If someone who did not know better saw him, they might mistake him for an honest college student.

Though the woman was definitely much more animated. Her long black hair was tied up in a high ponytail. Her facial features were exquisite, and her eyes were bright and intelligent. Moreover, her lips were slightly pouty, which made her appear to be smiling vaguely even with a neutral expression.

The two people stood there for a while. Then, under the night sky, a similarly slender figure made its way towards them.

Both of them were startled.

Before this, when they heard the calm and composed voice over the phone, they thought it would be an older woman but they did not expect her to be so young.

Little Eight was the first to step up. She squinted her eyes and smiled. “Hi, you’re Miss Thomas?”

Vickie extended her hand to shake her hand. “That’s me.”

The man behind also stepped forward to shake her hand.

Vickie did not want to make any small talk, so she glanced at the SUV behind them and asked, “Where’s the thing?”

“Inside the car.”

Taking the lead, Vickie walked towards the car.

Little Eight and her partner naturally followed behind her. They then popped open the trunk and a large black plastic bag was lying in there.

Little Eight touched her nose and gave an embarrassed cough.

“Sorry, due to the time constraint, we did not have enough time to find a better container to put her in. We simply used a bag.”

Vickie’s facial expression remained unruffled. She simply replied, “It’s alright.”

She stared at it in silence for a while. Then, she turned around and asked Little Eight, “Still the same account as before?”

Little Eight nodded.

Without delay, Vickie took out her phone and transferred the money.

The card was a last-minute request from her to Mr. Osborne before she left the house this morning. As the amount involved was not too large and since Mr. Osborne had received orders to fulfill her requests, he gave it to her without any questions.

Vickie knew that she would become very useful to Gregory soon after this, so she did not pinch any pennies while spending his money.

There was no guilt whatsoever. After all, all this money could be considered as his compensation to her.

It did not take long for the money to be transferred.

While she was making the transfer, Little Eight had already received a notification on her end. A genial smile appeared on her face. “I’ve received it. I see that you didn’t drive here. It must be inconvenient to carry her while walking, right? Do you want me to give you a lift?”

Unexpectedly, Vickie shook her head.

She turned her head once again to look at the black figure lying in the trunk. Solemnly, she said, “The place that she’s going is not far from here. I will just carry her there.”

When Little Eight heard that, she thought that Vickie’s words were strange, but she knew better than to say anything.

She simply nodded and said, “Okay. Then, we’ll take our leave. Thanks for your business. If you have any other jobs in the future, I hope you’ll look for us again.”

Vickie nodded at her good-naturedly.

With that, Little Eight and her partner helped unload the body before they hopped into the SUV and drove away.

The car rumbled into the vast darkness of the night and immediately after, the surroundings turned silent. In that deserted field, there was only Vickie, alone with a half-decomposed corpse.
