Normally, Vickie would hide away in the chateau to be safe but today was special. How could such a pious and sincere couple let this chance to pray for their love pass them by as they stayed indoors?
Thus, she now had a reason to go outside. Vickie also believed that the lack of movement from the other side was definitely not because they had given up.
It was more likely that they were also looking for a chance to make a move, and today was their best chance.
With that, Vickie concluded that they would make their move for sure and she can then deal with the issue easily in one fell swoop, taking them down and figuring out how powerful they were and their goal.
Such a pity though…
A thought came to mind and she smiled dryly.
The reason she went to the dojo was so she could find Gregory to tell him about the plan.
Instead, she ran into Gregory and Yuliana with their clothes suspiciously unkempt.
Vickie was so pissed that she did not say what she needed to. Then later when she thought about it, the issue at hand was more important. Not to mention that when she was going to bring it up earlier, Yuliana appeared once again and Gregory even stood by her instinctively!
She could not understand. For someone as smart as Gregory, it did not make sense that he would be fooled by someone like Yuliana over and over again?
She was like a bunch of lame toys even a ten-year-old would look down on. Could he really not tell?
Vickie was baffled. The other possibility was that he had fallen head over heels for her.
In his heart, Gregory truly loved Yuliana so deeply that it had blinded him to such an obvious scheme.
Regardless of the reason, Vickie was disappointed in him.
She held zero hope in him supporting her in her act.
Today was already Chinese Valentine’s Day and Vickie no longer wanted to wait.
She would still head out, with or without him. As for whether the other side would take the bait… It would all be left up to God to decide.
As Vickie thought about it, she let out a sigh.
She simply told Andrea, “Don't sweat the details. Just make sure people know that the lady staying in the Graham Chateau is going to the Chinese Valentine’s event tonight. Spread it to as many people as possible, got it?”
Andrea nodded furiously. “Yes, understood. Do not worry, my lady. When I was out I purposely pretended to not know what they were saying and asked for info.
“Because I was worried that people wouldn’t get it, I even asked what fun things there were in the event itself. I visited a jewelry store later as well and told them I was going to come out with you today, I'd even drag you over to buy their jewelry.
“I also did what you asked and intentionally exaggerated how difficult it was for you to leave the chateau and that you were stuck there. You wouldn’t let such a prime opportunity to go out for some fresh air slip past you. I believe that with these in place, no one should suspect anything.”
Vickie listened and nodded.
“Then that’s good.”
She eyed the time, it was 10:00 am.
The Chinese Valentine’s events were about lights and lanterns so naturally, it would happen at night.
There was still time to kill.
Vickie thought about it and dismissed Andrea before returning to her room to rest and conserve her energy. After all, there might be a tough battle tonight.
At the same time in another room…
Ginny noticed that the usually lively and prideful Yuliana was rather listless today.
Of course, if she left the room, she would still put on the act of being pompous and chipper, but once she got back to her room, her face would immediately revert to being empty and her eyes were seemingly sunken into its sockets.
Ginny had no idea what happened that could have caused this.
For the record, when the fight broke out last night between Yuliana and Vickie, Young Master Gregory most certainly took her side.
