Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 878

Vickie did not mind and nodded. “Go ahead.”

Andrea walked out with her phone.

As Vickie watched the gaunt figure leave, a trace of softness and affection flashed in her heart.

Why was she so nice to Andrea?

All this time, Andrea had always been taking care of her to the best of her abilities, with which she was quite pleased.

In fact, there was another reason: Vickie seemed to see through Andrea and recognize Jennie within her.

They were both young girls who were like freshly bloomed flowers. They were in their most brilliant and beautiful youth and were both strong in character. They were born in mud yet remained unstained, and were full of hope for the future, completely different from herself.

However, Jennie was already dead. She had died for Vickie before Vickie even had the chance to treat her well.

Vickie did not know what kind of weird psychology was at work. She sometimes looked at Andrea’s slender figure and really seemed to see Jennie in her. There were some things that she could not make up for anymore.

In that case, she would let the girl, which reminded her of Jennie, have a good time and live happily. That way, it was also a kind of compensation for her to Jennie.

Vickie’s thoughts drifted a little far, and at this time, the shop assistant had come back with the dress. She smiled politely and respectfully. “Miss, would you like to try it on now?”

Vickie shook her head. “It’s not for me but for my sister. You can leave it for now. She went out to answer the phone.”

The shop assistant originally thought that the girl who followed Vickie with an uncomfortable face was just a maid or attendant due to her appearance as though she looked like she came from a rural area and because her actions seemed like a little girl from a small family.

It was only after hearing Vickie say this that the shop assistant realized that she was her sister. The smile on her face could not help but blossom a little more, and she nodded. “Of course.”

It took about three to four minutes before Andrea returned.

Although she tried to maintain her smile when she came back, Vickie could see a trace of gloom and something wrong in her eyes. She frowned slightly and asked, “What happened?”

Andrea shook her head. “It’s nothing, just…It was a call from home.”

Her smile was a little forced as she gingery touched her head and said, “It’s just the same old. I just won’t pay attention to it.”

Vickie frowned. As far as she knew, there was no one in Andrea’s home as the girl was an orphan and had grown up in an orphanage. Was the ‘home’ she mentioned referring to the orphanage?

However, Vickie did not dwell much on it and she patted Andrea on the shoulder. “Don’t think too much about it. We can talk about it later if anything comes up.”

Then, she motioned to the dress that was put aside and said, “Go try it on.”

Andrea nodded.

The shop assistant took the dress and led her to the fitting room.

While Andrea was in the fitting room, Vickie found herself bored from sitting around and waiting, so she stood up and continued to stroll around the store.

The bodyguards who came with them naturally did not enter the store as it would affect business and make everyone uncomfortable. However, they also did not dare to stand too far and remained waiting outside the entrance. As soon as there was any movement inside, they could run in immediately.

Vickie strolled around for a while but did not see anything she liked. When she saw the other two shopkeepers following her, she waved her hand and said, “Go ahead and do your own stuff. Don’t mind me. I’ll just look around.”

The two were not overly polite and smiled. “Okay, please feel free to call us if you need anything.”
