Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 895

Amber smiled faintly.

"Of course you guys couldn't find out anything wrong with it. That’s because it’s indeed a bottle of essential oil.

"The hallucinogen doesn't work without a specific person doing a specific action. Not to mention that the bottle I gave you to take for inspection was just a bottle of ordinary essential oil, not the one I used on you before."

Vickie was fiercely shaken.

It was only at this time that she realized that she had really trusted Andrea too much in the first place.

That was why even though she had doubts about her, she had only carelessly checked and found nothing wrong, so she trusted her completely.

Little did she know that the other party was using this trust of hers to secretly plot against her.

Vickie's eyes went cold and Amber did not care.

She sat there quietly. Whether it was her words, actions, or that cold aura, Amber was different from how she looked when she was in the chateau previously.

Amber looked at Vickie and held up the uneaten bread in her hand.

"Do you still want to eat?"

Vickie did not say anything.

Amber laughed.

"You don't need to be angry with me. I've already said that I'm just a pawn who follows orders. Even if you’re mad, you should fill your stomach first. I'm sure you understand this better than me."

Vickie stared at her coldly, then after a while, she said in a flat voice, "Bring it over."

Amber took the bread over and continued to feed her bit by bit.

Although this position of being fed was somewhat humiliating, Vickie did not ask Amber to untie her hands.

She knew that even if she made this request, these people would not agree to it.

After all, she still had confidence in her own skills, and these people were also aware of that.

If they really let go of her, it would definitely be easy for a sudden change to occur, so they would not agree to it anyway.

Vickie did not bother to waste any more effort. She just finished eating the bread and let Amber feed her a few sips of water before she leaned against the wall of the truck again.

She looked at Amber. Her eyes were dull, but there was no more hostility.

With a faint voice, she asked, "Where are you taking me?"

Amber twisted the lid of the water bottle and put it beside her as she said, "Would you believe me if I say I don't know?"

Vickie snorted coldly.

Amber said somberly, "I'm really not sure."

After a pause, she added, "But I advise you to avoid any thoughts of escaping. Since they’ve captured you, they’ve already made thorough preparations, so you won't be able to escape no matter what. If you resist, you might even be easily injured."

Vickie sneered.

"You think I’d still be afraid of getting hurt?"

Amber choked.

She sighed and said, "Well, I'm just being kind by advising you. As for what exactly you want to do is your business."

After she said that, she turned her body to the side and tilted her head to rest against the wall with her eyes closed.

Vickie saw that she had stopped talking and did not bother to speak anymore. After all, she had gotten all that she could out of Amber's mouth. As for the rest, whether Amber refused to tell her or if she really did not know, at least for the time being, she would not be able to get it out of her mouth again.

The carriage was very bumpy as it drove. Her eyes grew heavier, so she also closed her eyes and leaned against the wall to take a nap.

Some time had passed.

The truck stopped all of a sudden, then it was followed by a steep acceleration.

Vickie was awakened by the emergency brake and opened her eyes.
